Just change some parts from jb last week at ah boy.

-Dunlop 80/90 rear tyre - cant remember

-Pop Domino rear shock - cant remember

-Kappa Centre basket - RM75

 

Total spending S$150.

btw hor, using racing boy rims, now on irc nr77 80/90 rear.. wanna get something smaller overall diameter for my rear so more ground clearance when on mainstand.. any idea if tt900 90/80 rear have smaller diameter than the irc nr77 80/90 rear?

how much does a new showa rear shock cost? any specific year or model of the showa rear shock that could be fit on honda wave?

 

A new pair is about $1.1K @ FJT Honda agent.

M selling off mine for $400 (only for Wave riders)

Red spring. No leaks. :thumbup::)

Stiff, hard and adjustable. About 8 months ago I bought the Honda OEM rear shock but after a while it became soft and some more not adjustable. Had asked the shop between YSS and Domino and they told me that YSS is soft. Don't know whether is it true or not. Nevertheless, satisfied with Domino.

Tried a few aftermarket ones & gave up.

Becomes soft after a while.

My Showa is still stiff even after a few years usage. Worth investing in a good pair of shocks.

juz changed my rear suspension and front brake disc in JB.

 

Rear Suspension: Makita 98RM

Front Brake Disc: 89RM

Selling my month used under utilised Red colour Pop Domino(best quality in the market I was told) Racing Footrest with passenger footrest and rear brake steel cable line instead of the usual unorthodox method of welding your stock shaft to it, going for $120 as a set paid more than 200 because of the additional steel cable. Condition 8.5 or 9/10, bike hardly ridden also.. sms me at 8ll2399O. Reverted back to stock . Item off bike!

just overhauled my Wave at a motor shop in Taman U in JB.

 

these are the breakdowns

Conrod 155RM $25-$35 (agent/LAB)

Piston 75RM $15-$20 (agent/LAB)

Piston Ring 58RM $16 (agent/LAB)

Block Polishing 18RM (usually not charged)

Gasket 1 set 48RM $6/pc (agent/LAB)

Cam Bearings 2 set 88RM (never done this b4)

Big 4th Gear 78RM (never done this b4)

Small 4th Gear 75RM (never done this b4)

Clutch Plates 110RM $4.50/pc (agent/LAB)

Sparkplug 11RM $2 (agent/LAB)

Engine Oil 27RM (depends on ur choice) ;)

Timing chain 48RM (never done this b4)

Engine Oil Pump 78RM (never done this b4)

Sprocket Bearings 35RM (never done this b4)

Labour Manhour 100RM (shldnt even be charged cos the prices ledy comes with labour cost)

 

 

Usually, I buy all my parts in SG & bring over to JB & pay RM20-50 for labour. That's it. :)

Yes. Confirmed but then again, its subjective.

To some ppl, its $80 (cash & carry)

To some ppl, its $80 (plus installation)

I’ve seen some kups with airbrushed Arai designs front mudguards. Im assuming its available in JB. Anybody knows if there is any available for wave S and how much it costs? With or without trade in of stock mudguard?
