Wave X is the latest - analogue.

Pre 2002 Wave S - digital, after 2002 Wave S (like FW plates all analogue).

I bought my wave registered and also manufactured in 2008 first hand which has digital odometer and fuel gauge.

I m confused by the models of Wave... Well anyway, they are all good Waves. :thumb:

But digital odo got one disadvantage is the odo will stuck at 99999.9km, analogue will jump to 00000.0. Is this still rite?

If clutch plate problem, the clutch will not even engaged properly. For me, it engaged properly but jerks in a slippery manner whilst on 2nd gear. Clutch plates on kups are seldom the problem. But for 60RM can give it a try 1st la. Patrick, let us know if changing clutch solved the problem.

Thanks Guy,

Normally the 3rd gear reach 60km/h the motor start to vibrate and the speed does not increase a lot ( a bit only 62km/h), after change to 4th gear than it start increase speed to 80km/h.

Anyway, i will change the cluth first. update you guy once change.

for grippy tires, i like bt39.... i think its the most expensive also....

Bridgestone Battlax BT39 80/90-17 90/80-17 $188.00 (unique motorshop)

actually i think u shld ask ur mech abt ur problem. coz it really doesnt seem like clutch slip to me after u describe it.....

clutch slip is when RPM increases/ engine REVVING UPP.... but e bike not accelerating much... so probably u try and feel it urself.... all the best! (hope no need to spend too much $)

any1 noe how to open up honda wave seat?

open up? you mean to access the under seat compartment? if so, put your keys into keyhole, same as the one for ignition, and turn to "SEAT", mine's on the left side of "ON" (idk if all wave same). then push it in- you will hear a click sound. your seat is unlocked and now you can lift the seat up. i hope this helps :)

RELEASE THE GEAR SHIFTER SLOWLY INSTEAD OF INSTANTLY TO MINIMIZE THE JERKING-

FOR STOPPING-JUST STOP AT ANY GEAR 2,3,4...AFTER WHICH THEN YOU CAN GEAR DOWN BACK TO 1-

:thumb:

just before u let ur clutch engage after u downshift, u can blip the throttle to match the engine speed, it would reduce the sudden jerk.... that is if u wanna downshift at a higher rev.... yep.
