need help with minor accident

hi,

 

today i met with a minor accident...i was turning left and the car was turning right. its in the carpark area so stop at stop line i turn left go go in th carpark while the car turns right towards me to go out of the carpark...so i was on the driver side when i turn left. then the car unexpectedly do a sharp turn and come near my bike and scratch onto my right side.

 

damages: pillon foot rest gone. rider footest also bent. exhaust pipe got scratch and dent.

 

the good thing is the driver himself seem abit panic and admitted his fault and wanna settle it privately..he gave me his wife HP number and they acknowledge that its their fault.

 

Now the thing is i have send the bike for repair. let the car owner know the total cost of repair which is agree to pay.so i change new exhaust and footrest. paid for it. Now wat if the owner go back on his word and refused to pay?can i claim insurance after that which might be more than 24hrs after the accident?need advice here.

Carpark accidents very hard to claim one. If u have pictures of the accident and a written letter signed by the other party stating it was his fault then can...

but thing is the car owner ask me to bring down shop do repair and say i can get claim.wat if he refuse after repairs?

can i assume

1.he is getting out of the carpark and you are turning into the carpark?

2. he did not say he's not going to pay for the damages?

3. you have already change your pipe and paid for it?

 

Call him, get the money from him. if he doesn't pay, claim his insurance. dun drag..
