How to repair Box Lock

Hello guys, still haven't got around replacing the box since it was broken into, more because the box still great condition, lock spoil only. Any solution to replace lock? I was thinking drill holes into it and install a latch and padlock.

Maybe go to LAB at Kelatan Lane and ask if they sell your type of box's lock.

 

They do have givi box lock, that I have change before. Around $15 to $20 at most.

go the shop along LAB. got 2 small shop before LAB..its not the nearest to LAB its the one beside it. replacement fee 20 bucks. been there twice.

do they duplicate key? my box key lost.

There are a couple different types of locks, but they are not that hard to "replace" On the back side of the lock there should be a nut or clip holding it in place. Once you get it out take it with you to your local home repair store and match it up. Just make sure they look as close as possible. Some have right angles and some are longer then others. Put it together and your done. Only snag you may run into is you might have to take the letter box off of were it is mounted. Good luck.
