  1. Motorcycles and Motorcycling: Which is better, Kawasaki Ninja 250 or Honda CBR 250r?
  2. I'm not entirely up on the latest track pedal tech and best-practices, but traditionally we raced in slotted clip shoes in pedals with toe clips (cages), often with double straps. This was primarily because of the high torque of starting match sprints, pursuits, etc. in such a large gear, as well as sprinting at very high cadences and power outputs, such that standard clipless pedals had the potential for failure or releasing unexpectedly.
  3. Helimot has relocated to Fremont, but their suits are still the best. Many of the KFGs in the AFM swear by them, as well as us slower guys.
  4. Stick Shift: The best car security system in America. The most common mistakes I made while learning to drive stick are: 1. Once you reach the biting point of the clutch, there is a tendency to quickly pop the clutch. At this moment, you should continue progressively pulling your foot off the clutch as you keep accelerating. 2. Not giving the car enough gas as you reach the biting point, thus stalling the car. Keep your foot on the gas and steadily increase it as the car starts to move. 3. Becoming hysterical when you begin to roll back on an incline. Instead, put on the E-brake. As you let off the clutch and step on the gas, have the E-brake up, and when the car starts to go forward (you should feel/notice the hood rising), slowly release the brake. 4. Not taking your foot completely off the gas while shifting gears. Then the engine over-revs loudly. 5. Last but not least, forgetting to use the clutch as you come to a complete stop with the car in gear. This happens a lot in the beginning. When you have to stop, press the clutch all the way down and step on the brake to come to a complete stop to prevent the car from stalling. You can then put the gear in Neutral and take your foot off the clutch while your other foot stays on the brake.
  5. The timing controls when your sparkplugs will fire in relation to the cycle of your engine. You adjust it for optimum ignition. In mechanical ignition systems, timing is usually adjusted by rotating the distributor.
  6. ASM is the leading Motorcycle Trauma Training Organization in the world, and the only accredited non-profit Bystander Program in the USA. The key to reducing injuries and fatalities to motorcyclists is education. Motor Cycle Trading Post encourages all motorcyclists to become lifelong learners, and to do all they can to avoid a crash from occurring. We go one-step further than many other safety programs – we connect motorcycle trauma first response as part of the solution.
  7. The game, based on pocketbike racing, features customizable bikes and drivers. Players can choose one of five tracks to race on: a Burger King restaurant parking lot, a construction site, a backyard, the King's garden or the fabled Fantasy Ranch set.
  8. This internationally acclaimed venue is available for you to experience first hand. You don't need to be a GP rider, nor do you need a desire to win races or be a world champion.
  9. Helimot has relocated to Fremont, but their suits are still the best. Many of the KFGs in the AFM swear by them, as well as us slower guys.
