It really depend on situation. Some bikes still on installment, u continue and pay a bit of cash, some need you to pay full cash, so you go and find your own loan company.... SP is old bike, should be no more installment.

Information on Octane Ratings Gasoline or petrol is a petroleum-derived liquid mixture consisting mostly of aliphatic hydrocarbons and enhanced with aromatic hydrocarbons toluene, benzene or iso-octane to increase octane ratings, primarily used as fuel in internal combustion engines. An important characteristic of gasoline is its octane rating, which is a measure of how resistant gasoline is to the abnormal combustion phenomenon known as detonation (also known as knocking, pinging, spark knock, and other names). A higher-octane fuels allow for a higher compression ratio - this means less space in a cylinder on its combustion stroke, hence a higher cylinder temperature which improves efficiency according to Carnot's theorem, along with fewer wasted hydrocarbons (therefore less pollution and wasted energy), bringing higher power levels coupled with less pollution overall because of the greater efficiency. Different countries have some variation in what RON (Research Octane Number) is standard for gasoline, or petrol. In the UK, ordinary regular unleaded petrol is 91 RON (not commonly available), premium unleaded petrol is always 95 RON, and super unleaded is usually 97-98 RON. However both Shell and BP produce fuel at 102 RON for cars with hi-performance engines, and the supermarket chain Tesco began in 2006 to sell super unleaded petrol rated at 99 RON. Gas (Petrol) Someone who has been in petroleum pipeline business for about 31 years and is currently working for the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline in San Jose, CA wrote the following information: We deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period from the pipe line; one day it's diesel, the next day it's jet fuel and gasoline. We have 34 storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons. Here are some tricks to help you get your money's worth. 1. Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When it gets warmer gasoline expands, so if you're filling up in the afternoon or in the evening, what should be a gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and temperature of the fuel (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products) are significant. Every truckload that we load is temperature-compensated so that the indicated gallonage is actually the amount pumped. A one-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for businesses, but service stations don't have temperature compensation at their pumps. 2. If a tanker truck is filling the station's tank at the time you want to buy gas, do not fill up; most likely dirt and sludge in the tank is being stirred up when gas is being delivered, and you might be transferring that dirt from the bottom of their tank into your car's tank. 3. Fill up when your gas tank is half-full (or half-empty), because the more gas you have in your tank the less air there is and gasoline evaporates rapidly, especially when it's warm. (Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating 'roof' membrane to act as a barrier between the gas and the atmosphere, thereby minimizing evaporation.) 4. If you look at the trigger you'll see that it has three delivery settings: slow, medium and high. When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to the high setting. You should be pumping at the slow setting, thereby minimizing vapors created while you are pumping. Hoses at the pump are corrugated; the corrugations act as a return path for vapor recovery from gas that already has been metered. If you are pumping at the high setting, the agitated gasoline contains more vapor, which is being sucked back into the underground tank, so you're getting less gas for your money. Most of the time, Phantom will only fishtail when one do emergency break, or when the road is wet. Other than that is fine. I dont know spark will fishtail or not if one do emergency break....

yes! i tighten both sides and make sure it's of the same alignment. after that, i lub the chain...but the sound is still significant enough...

hi, i tried to tighten chain by myself but found out that it becomes louder when it move! what is the possible cause? is it too tight or there is something stick on my chain? i did leave some allowance to the chain...appreciate your advice.

chinggu is right, tat is small building by LTA. i registered tat biometric thing there for both fingers.... but the rule is no pillion rider. but still need to queue until the biometric entrance.... for RM20 levy, it's being put on hold due to this yr is visit m'sia yr. and it's only apply to car. no info on bike yet...

if only 3rd party should be cheaper. it's very simple, u can actually called up a few insurance company, quote your age, model of bike, yr of bike, type of insurance u want, etc. some insurance company also consider your license yr, so they do not accept those biker who just got their license within a yr, ie. AXA. i done comparison between NTUC and Mitsui. Mitsui cheaper a lot. they did not consider when u get your license. most biker get their insurance there. and some insurance co do not even insure sport bike. most popular should be mitsui. call them up to find out your real "mkt value". don't be shy, u can't get the actual quote in the forum.

yes, the insurance cost will be based on the youngest rider. this is what mitsui told me before. i'm 26+, TA200, 3rd party w fire/theft already cost me $367...

Hi, I spent the whole afternoon read thru this thread but only managed to go to pages 15. It's like reading user manual, can never finish. In order to cut short time, did anybody mentioned the difference between the usual Phantom or Phantom Custom? I heard from yr 04 onwards, it's already Phantom Custom 4. Is this true? Is it an upgraded version of the older version Phantom? Can anyone point out the different and the improvement or disadvantages of the Phantom Custom 4? Tks pal. Best Regards,
