  1. hey guys, me and my uncle are planning to rebuild my late grandfather's px200. can recommend reliable shops to do that? on the other hand, is there a solution for the front end diving while braking in the wet?
  2. how much are you looking at to sell your H9?
  3. Any idea if the AMG motorsport bike shop at JB is open on Sunday and what time they open? Thanks in advance.
  4. It's been a while since I pop by. Got a few reviews though. Used dunlop TT900 Thai previously. Lasted me around 9months and about 13000km before the tyres really make me lose confidence. Using 80/90 profile for front and rear. Mileage about 32-33km/l. Now i've changed to Duro 70/90 front and 80/90 rear. Mileage still the same, which makes me wonder why and grip level is IMHO horrible. I will probably stick to dunlops be it Thai or japan or bridgestones. Check with mech at JB for Maxxis. The only have 70/90 for front and 90/80 for rear and of different models. No 80/90 at all.
  5. I can't really review on that. Cos my front end is too soft. So my cornering entries will "wobble" when entering and exiting corners. Haven't had the chance to replace the fork oil yet. But, I feel more confident psychologically knowing I have a bit more rubber to play with. And I think since the tyre is a tiny bit wider, the contact patch is a tiny bit bigger too. Hehe.
  6. Yup. Using 190 rear. A tiny bit heavy but doesn't affect anything actually.
  7. I'm currently using Pirelli Diablos with the 190 profile at the rear. Not much diff. If u going bridgestone, the BT023 is the latest model for the sport-touring series. The previous BT021 I'm not so fond of cos I feel less feedback from the front end. The BT020 is awesome. So, I suppose the BT023 is the correction for the BT021. Please read more of others opinion before u go for the tyres. I ride up north once a year. But this year, I go local cos got baby. No trips for the moment.
  8. I think all drum brakes like that when it's cold or wet. Had the same problem before with my Wave and Spark. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. Depends on your budget too also bro. If budget very high, I recommend bridgestone and Michelin. From my experience, they have the best all-rounder tyres so far.
  10. I think the pilot road 2 is dual compound. The Michelin 2CT is also. Generally, all sport-touring tyres are dual compound. Hard in the middle for better mileage, soft at the sides for spirited riding.
  11. bro, why don't u try looking up dual compound tyres. Good grip, good wet grip and good mileage. BUT, it's good, not best. Just take note of that. And different tyres are constructed differently, so it may differ for various riders. just my opinion.
  12. Nope, not yet. Cash strapped at the moment.
  13. Thanks bro. But that's quite pricey IMO. Will check with them again.
  14. Bro, it's mainly due to when the Hornet 250 was launched, the wasn't any/much street legal exhaust. When lta starts approving different aftermarket exhausts, the number of hornets owners are too small for bike shops to bring in stocks. So, if u wanna get one, gotta order which means pay extra. That's my opinion.
  15. Been wanting to get centre stand too. Any idea how much biketech21 selling?
