  1. Last time BB numbered the lessons 1-13, with last 3 lessons on the road. So easy to remember. Now what 2.01, 5.02... i come here read liao also blur. Lol. Anyway, gd luck to all fellow riders for their respective subjects!
  2. Basket
  3. Ya thats the guy... also remember the brown muscle suit haha.
  4. Watcha gonna do....when HULKAMANIA runs wild... on youuuuuu..... The most iconic match I can think of was between Hulkster n the Warrior... after that they even hugged. Show of sportsmanship between the 2 best "good guys" of the time. Anyone remember this guy that was like so tall, Taker was only up to his shoulders? He just appeared out of nowhere during one of Taker's matches, I still remember what happened. He n Taker standing opposite sides of the ring, each takes a step toward each other, then meet in the mid. When they meet, both start to try n chokeslam, the other guy's just faster, and manages to choleslam Taker. Taker' left on the ground damn long. At that time was when Taker was still in his invincible stage, so this was like "wah"..... Dont think that guy ever made it big, dun remember his name...
  5. I thought fairing was to make the bike more aerodynamic. How does it help in stopping?
  6. This kind of story warms the heart lah.. good job! Yah n the rest of us should really do the same.
  7. There's a common and damn irritating habit that a lot of the local drivers have. At major junctions, when there's like 3 right-turning lanes, you're supposed to turn to the corresponding receiving lane. People always like to turn to a wrong receiving lane n cause hazard to others. Just kena today. Black new-looking truck. Damn and the guy was still like not his fault like that. The other day, also tio when a turning right, leftmost turning lane is a heavy truck, center is a taxi, right is me. The damn taxi tried to siam the truck n give it a wide berth while turning, in the process forcing me toward the center divider. Bloody hell. Some S'poreans really shouldnt be allowed to drive.
  8. I a bit old school, but i think if u only know how to drive auto a bit no pride leh... my $0.02 lah. And manual, you can control the EXACT rpm u want to push to...
  9. Hoseh, I shall hold you to that ah wolfang haha. Me a bit suaku leh, din know there was another version besides the GTR. Any practical differences beside styling? (absolutely lurrve the GTR's taillights, like Ferrari's like that.)
  10. Agree. Too high a price to pay for learning the lesson.. myxilplix: Thx for the info. Wow u're also the crazy night owl kind haha.
  11. Seriously, everyone wants something out of the blind date. I agree that most girls would not go out with someone who looks like he's poor. But hor, we guys also got requirement one mah. I believe many guys would agree with hiccup's experience. But look at it the other way. Imagine got some girl out there thinking, "NB lor, i put i lawyer, willing to pay for dates, but put my fat friend's photo, nobody reply, but I put my chio friend's photo in lowcut, say i karang guni also so many buaya reply."
  12. ABS is a system that, when it senses that ur wheel is about to lock, disallows ur brake from biting onto the wheel constantly, but "pulses" the brake pressure on-off-on-off many times a second. This allows max braking while keeping the tyre right on the edge, close to losing traction but not actually doing so. I don't think this increases braking distance significantly, if at all. Anyone else care to share? Personally, the only disadvantage i can see is the weight of the device, which will make a difference on the track, but not in everyday riding. Find it weird that such a potentially lifesaving device is not commonly used on bikes. (Most newer cars on the road have it i think) myxilplix: so ABS can be added on to any bike? Ok...besides the 07 Fazer any other bike comes with it as stock? If I want it added on do most bike shops carry it? Thanks bro
  13. Wheel lock - something that strikes fear into all bikers' hearts. So, what do you guys think about ABS on bikes? Other possible advantages/disadvantages? Price of installation? Which bikes come with it installed as standard? All comments welcome.
  14. Yes, it's very seldom that we get stopped and checked on the road. But who can guarantee? And if you get into an accident = YOU ARE FKED. Most importantly,If you haven't passed, means you aren't yet certified that you can handle the bike. An unlicensed biker poses a danger not just to himself, but all the other drivers/riders around him. I wouldn't want to meet you on the road.
  15. Sliders? Can tell me more abt these? What are they n how do they help? Thx
