And since that it saves me a lot of hassle trying to sell my bike at other shops and probably will face the same issue of not wanting to take in runners... Too many of them maybe? And ppl tend to go for new rides... Should I grab his offer? How can I be safe?

Hi guys, I need a piece of advice from u. Currently riding gilera runner with road tax and insurance expiring 1st Nov. As I wish to upgrade to sportster custom 1200, I want to sell the bike. Currently under hire purchase with 1 year left. Shop refuses to take in runner unless I get new bike from him. He says that early repayment penalty can be waived and he will take in my runner only if I get my Harley from him. The big question is, are they allowed to get bikes from the authorised dealer HD? I don't want any parallel import or worse still, no warranty on the new bike. Guess the only question is how much interest he charges for the in house loan. IS IT SAFE TO GET FROM THE BIKE SHOP? I have dealt with him before in the past, doesn't give me any problems.

I just worry the parts won't fit. Scared of china made stuff too.

Hi guys, I've decided to save up for Sportster custom 1200. Have been to the showroom and the bike blew me off! Big front tyres just like the 48. May I ask where else can I get parts and accessories for it? Showroom is way too pricey and not much to choose from.

Yest was on my way to work ard 750pm on PIE towards tuas when a group of bikers zoomed past me. Could see a few R6'ers going so fast lol. I was @110km/h and they zoomed past me so fast. Must be heading to pa you lol.. Anyway is it normal to feel vibration on the handle bar when at speeds higher than 110? Should be around 6000rpm ba. Mine's a yr old 2010 model. Should not have any problems ba..

Yea, its very true that emotions get the better of u. I once had a minor accident due to a quarrel with my wife too. Nowadays speed only when there are minor vehicles on the road. Also before i leave the house i always hug my 4yr old daughter and say 'i love u' then goodbye everytime i ride... Who knows it may be my last time? At least i have no regrets.

Any R6 bros using scottoiler? The manual states that approx. 2 drops of oil per minute is the best for a wet, not fling chain. How many notches is equivelent to it? Also, the outer part of the chain is rusty, does that happen to bros who use scottoiler as well? Need much appreciated advice for experienced bros. One last thing, how much is it to replace the drive chain and what variety can i look at?

Hey fellow R6 bros, im using scottoiler for my R6 and the chain is still showing signs of rust. Though i notice the inner part of the chain is still wet with oil. Darn the rainy season. Any solution? I dislike grease as it tends to fling off and makes it hard to remove at the rims. (I do cover my bike except when caught in the rain, bike has to take a shower:cry:)

Abt 23k not inclusive of interest & insurance. Interest is at 4% pa. Actually i ordered a 09, but gave me a 10. Gave me lots of problem at the start cos i used gpr thunderline f/s and PC5, ended up bike unable to start at times. I was stranded in mid journey. Ended up the diagnosis was that PC5's software was incompatible and not up to date. Changed to PC3 and running well now.
