  1. hey lads 18 months and 11,000kms down with my Dragster RR. This has incl a 2200kms tour of malaysia on her, which was epic. Look forward to hearing abt upcoming rides etc.
  2. My mate is actually selling his atm. We bought both ours at same time, but he is building some "choppers" so needs the funds. 7 months old, 6000kms. White/Red version Dragster RR. He is looking at 35k if anyone is interested.
  3. Honestly you don't buy a bike like this and worry about fuel consumption. Fuel light usually comes on around 170km, max i have reached its 200km before refilling, anyhting past this and you run the real risk of running out of fuel i would think.
  4. OK so picked up my MV Augusta Brutale Dragster RR in September. So have been riding her for a good 3 months now with 2000kms approaching. Bought from S1 motoring So far pretty happy with the engine, revs beautifully and is a gem to ride in 2nd and 3rd when hitting the twisty mountains etc. The gearbox with quickshifter for both clutchless up and down shifting is just amazing. Those downshifts are to drool over. The styling and sound is also fantastic, but i think we all know that. Only downsides so far is the handling/suspension. She is a little twitchy and the suspension seems hard as often thrown up from seat when hitting not so smooth road. As ive now put almost 2000kms on the bike i figure suspension should be worn in and its time to get the suspension set up for my weight/riding style so im hoping to get some improvement here. neverthless its a sh*t load of fun
  5. Is one of the above any better than the other? I assume no difference in loan set ups etc etc since all same parent company? No trade in, just going to by the new MV but want to deal with nice company, good service etc
  6. Guys need a new battery for 675R any suggestions where i can pick one up today since Mah is closed? If anyone also can confirm battery model that would be awesome (mine currently in carpark at office - flat)
  7. Well Albert Motors have all the new models in...incl the Dragster RR [drool]
  8. hey guys how do you go for parts? I know 30pct more expensive but readily available or huge waits? Assume also the stores selling MVs have the equipment, computers etc for servicing. They told me they did but just want to be sure.
  9. So everyone only seems to have the mv 125bhp version (from the states), but no one has the new 800RR or 800RR dragster versions from europe (140hp versions) Where can i get one of 140hp sexy beasts
  10. OK saw i worked it out. Its definitely a US model and its only the 125bhp engine. Still tempting http://www.mvagusta.com/en-us/motorcycles/dragster-800/
  11. OK im really confused MV released 3 new models Brutale 800 (125bhp) Brutale 800RR (140bhp) Brutale 800 Dragster RR (140bhp but more nice bits like spoked wheels, red forks etc) I assume the model that i-motoring is carrying is a US model or something as its not one of the euro models or euro colour schemes . They also must have renamed the US 'Brutale 800' to 'Brutale 800 dragster' when i read this link http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2014/01/mv-agusta-unveils-brutale-800-dragster/ it describes all teh specs of the base model but has the word dragster in it
  12. Well that could explain why extreme told me they were clearing out the675s and havent given me any answers on the new 800s if they have lost the distribution rights. Was the the new mv Brutale 800 in white/red? Looks like im heading to M1 tomorrow...
  13. Hey guys Im looking at an MV myself. The new Brutale 800RR (once it gets released here) Interested to hear how you go with servicing (rought costs), parts etc etc. Obviously not a very common bike in singapore so this stuff concerns me a little Cheers
  14. Thanks guys. Just back from overseas again so now want to get tyre done this weekend. What is a good tow company and also well priced? USually a take my bike to kaki bukit for service but I live Ang Mo kio so that's a long way to replace flat tyre. Any close recommendations for a closer shop that preferably stocks Pirelli Rossi II in a 150/60 R17
  15. Thanks guys, nearest pertrol station atleast 2km away and uphill Looks like tow it is Flat is on my ZX250R
  16. Hey Guys Just come back from business trip and see my rear has a big screw in it and is flat as flat. Any mobile repair services or even better full tyre replacement services on the island you can recommend? Cheers.
  17. Also met with accident on fri when smart gentlemen decided to open his car door (he was in the middle lane) at a redlight as i slowly lane filtered up to the front. Also same only cosmetic but fairings, indicators, crash knobs etc Any good workdshop to reccommend? will be under his insurance so want a good jo done for my lil ninja250R Also need to claim helmet i assume work shop puts that inot claim for me, as my lid got some good scrathes.
  18. My ZX250R is back up for sale as have saved the deposit for my class 2 bike. However i cant post in the 'garage sale' topic under 'used bike' on the forum, any help appreciated! Will be sad to see the little rocket go, but happy to move back to bigger bikes too. STILL FOR SALE: Priced at $4950 now if anyone is interested PM me
  19. Hi All Just got my Class 2 license so looking to sell my "Baby Ninja" to move up. There is an Ad with pics on Singaporebikes under "used bikes". Its a 2009 registered, Green, with 32,000kms on the clock, GYPR exhaust, Seat Cowl etc Great little bike for entry into sportsbike riding, and very comfortable for commuting in singapore. PM me if interest. Cheers
  20. Hi Koxie PM the details. Especially the milage, service history etc.
  21. If anyone is interested in my 2009 zx250r for 6.9k (32k mileage) let me know. Quick sale would let me get this R1. Zx250 owned outright no loan.
  22. I think it depends how your riding the bike. My last 4 bikes have all been 600cc and above. Then i move to Singapore and i wanted a daily commuter so i bought the 250R. I spend most of the time between 8-12k rpm, and i only get about 20km/L... its the 'fun' part of the bike imo Still its a fun little bike in the traffic, easy to throw around, handling is good (and my past bike was an R1) more exciting that some of the 400s. Only complaint is the riding position is too upright, need to be over the bars more. Still i highly recommend for those as an entry level into road bike riding abd all those ride bikers who want to test their skills.
  23. had my first vehiele inspcation and all went sweet except my front number plate sticker. its white with black lettering, but because my rear is black with white lettering i have to change my front one to match. The questions is where do i go for such a service? I live AMK area ... thks
  24. IM an Aussie living here. Always had bikes back home with no front plate. I always thought the reason though was safety. That sharp piece of metal/tin on the front could cause serious injury if you came off. Here in Singapore most of us have stickers as our front plates on our front screens, as such its no big deal. Doesn't bother me a bit (we also dont have the same amount of speed cameras here though as Aust)
