LV does make bike 4KG lighter. From the manufacturer's specs, it is supposed to improve top-end performance, but I can't really feel it.

Problem now is the backfire. Stock exhaust already has backfire which agent mech says it is "normal". With LV 4Road, backfire is louder and more often.

I read that too much backfire is not very good.

I am trying to search LV's web site whether there's anyway to eliminate this. Apparently, they claimed that the LV is made to sync with the stock EFI.

Mr.Magoo, did you have backfire problems with your LV?

try using a colder spark plug. should help.

Hi bro chaochao, i think fuoco is a backfire happy bike.. lol, if you take out the baffle, u will experience more frequent and louder backfires.. My advise is, DO NOT TAKE THE BAFFLE OFF.. the sound is too high profile, surely a target for TPs.. i have hence fixed back the baffle.

Btw, i wonder will we get pull over by TP because of the backfire, what can we say, the bike stock also backfires?

I did even think of removing baffle - it is already loud enough.

The backfire comes most intense if decelerate between 3rpm to 4,000 rpm.

Today, I noticed there's slightly less backfire. I will continue to monitor.

Having such loud backfire ain't cool. Its embarrassing. :pity:

Hey Big Cow, thanks for the advice. Will consider that option.

high number one. for example if u using size 8 now, go for size 9 or 10.

the bigger the number, the colder the plug.

the smaller the number, the hotter it'll be.

iridium plugs give out a more precise firing. thus its more ex.

Denso numbering is different from NGK.

for example;

NGK 8 = Denso 24

NGK 9 = Denso 27

Going KC on Sat morning to have my Fuoco check. Maybe try different spark plugs - regardless, I'll have to get the backfire fixed.

Hey bro, glad to have met you again (and ah Choong). After changing to no.8 NGK, the backfire is less frequent and quieter.
