chaochao is having Gold Standard for all his 3 tires. this is a very good touring tire. very good on wet weather also.

Wow- thanks for pointing that out... seems like the July Fuoco batch were a little lucky to have good stock tires!

Congrats, Gees...

Givi does have shield for approx S$250 (in Sgp or KL).

I'm going for ErMax shield. Cheaper, but not as chio as Givi. For me, so long s it does the job can already. Have to order (from MW). Wonder if we order together can get better price :deal:

PM me if you like, then see if we can nego together with MW.

Givi Box, as William and Mr. Magoo pointed out, you can get it from Sgp or KL.

There's also another make - CooCase. Cheaper than Givi and you can get ready-stock from Chiap Lee.

For myself, I've bought the Fuoco original OEM box. Still waiting for it. Only thing good is that box color same as the Fuoco Dragon Red color.

Looks comparison between the Ermax (20cm above stock) and Givi shields... I think the Givi looks better!!

go custom make.. saw some1 using ST1300 windscreen

I am still exploring the options. If I get a shield that is too high, I may not like my vision being partially blocked and not having enough wind to cool me while riding. However, Ermax Sport shield is a slightly lower.

Chubb, yes I saw a pic of a Fuoco with mod STX shield, but I do not think I'd go thru the hassle.

No, that's just the service interval light coming on, to tell you that the 10,000 km servicing is due. The actual things to check or replace are listed in the owner's manual under the 10,000 km servicing. Belt is at 20,000.

read the manual,it states belt change every 10000km.. but shop told me can last 20000km

i also dunno which is which..

Oops sorry, I didn't realise it came so fast for the Fuoco. The mp3 manual says belt change at 20,000 then 35,000, which is about the same for most scooters. The wear on the belt can be seen by visual inspection, so your mechanic can have a look and see if it's due for a change or not.

hmm.. perhaps my next servicing, gonna ask the mechanic to see if there is a need to replace the belt..

20,000KM mark to change belts is an average. It depends if you are a hard (wears ealier) or moderate rider (prolong belt usage life).

Some would stretch mark to 22,000km to 24,000km, but do not count on it. Peace of mind is better :p

Yes - the spanner icon will flash every 10,000km as an added feature of Fuoco - just refer to the owner's manual of the things to be serviced and let your mech know about it. Don't forget to ask your mech to reset your icon after servicing!

Posted

bro chaochao, the spanner icon did not appear this time, instead the belt icon appeared.. lol, think maybe ask shop to check and see if they can help me reset if the belt is still in good condition to last for another 10000km.. haha

Seems like you've hit the period of changing a few (needful) things in your Fuoco huh... I better enjoy my "maintenance free" period before I start buying belts and rollers!! Hahahah...
