Was thinking i was awesome on my Fuoco, drawing Oooh and Ahhhs from Malaysians everywhere i go (cos they've never seen a 3 wheeled bike before), till i met this young couple and their barely 1 year old daughter, on their small scooter. Baby sits in the front basket with no safety harness whatsoever, Dad rides bike and mom sits at the back. Tour Cameron from Ipoh just like that.

On another note, I'm planning to order the highway pegs bracket from Modernvespa. The same ones that TWdude has. Anyone wants to poll orders so we may save on the shipping?

Cost for one unit is USD$129 include shipping. I'm looking at 5 sets before contacting the seller for discounts.

Lol... Our tank is 12L leh, at most can only squeeze a little more... Less than 1/2L?

For auto bike theres no engine brakes,so solution is either change to a better brakes as suggested by our fellow bro. If not you can just try adding hel brake hose line to improve/better braking.... =)

Yo Bro,

Actually, this time milage reading not accurate. I know by experience bike will travel approx 280km till i hit 11.8 liters, which is my max limit set for bike, before getting ready to push. I also know that when reserve light comes up, max limit by experience is 40 km still ok can move.

 

So went to AC motors to check out Ah Chong as recommended by Chubb in the forum. Went to collect bike, ride till 160km the reserve light comes up. Strange, the reserve lights usually comes up when odo reads 230km-240km. The mechanic must have siphoned out some fuel to wash dirty, oily parts while servicing my bike. (saw some Unique mechanics doing so too)

 

Know i've 40km limit to find patrol pump on reserve. Reach home around 28km on reserve tank, take a break, will go Johor at 12a.m. to avoid crowds. Know it takes 20km to reach woodlands-johor esso station. So it'll be 48km till i reached pump on reserve. Max from my experience is 40km reserve tank 11.8 liters so i think i'll just be able to make the last 8km on 0.2 liters, but it'll be close. Maybe have to push along causeway crossing haha.

 

Well i've made it and set a new record for my max limit on fuoco, all thanks to Ah Chong, new engine oil, spark plugs and a little bit of God's grace! :cheeky:

230km-240km depends on engine oil old/new, spark plug wear, riding style, road conditions, bike load, tire choice/pressure... etc
