Second time overs peeding - To attend Court

Hi Friends,

 

I got summoned 6 points for overspending in Aug 2014.

 

And just earlier the TP caught me for speeding again. He said I will get 12 point + Fine +Court.

 

What is the proceedings in the court? My licences will be revoked? Or jail?

 

I am scared. Please advise me guys.. What should I do?

Pay fine and be remorseful and don't try to give excuse in front of the judge. You already kena 1 speeding offence of 21-30kph over and now another 41-50kph over he can easily argue not only you never learn, you even go faster. He'll probably give u the max $1k fine if you pay then no need go jail. I would be more concerned about your points. You've spent 18 in one year, which means you only have 6 pts left until Aug 2016. If you use finish your 6 pts by then, you're gonna get suspended for 3 months.

Thank you very much Zalk for your kind advise. I understand the seriousness of the offence. I will never ever do that again. I am going to take the public transport for the next two years... Hopefully the judge would not give jail sentence.

 

I heard that we have to wait for 1 year for the judgement in the court. Is it true? If not how long it will take?

No so easy jail la..wen u there will see so many old auntie n uncles. Also waiting to get their sentencing.

Usually will be around $1k fine, if not money to pay fine, then defunct 10 days.means go jail 10 days. Make sure u have cash, I think nets oso can.no credit card..the officer will bring all of u to the counter downstairs to pay
