I heard put too much wax cause a whole lump of black sticky stuff to gather at the chain guard and may cause difficulties in gear shift.. true?

The forward gear at the gear guard is already the output gear from the transmisson. It wont affect your shifting unless u telling me the entire gear is buried in dirt which is highly not possible. Anyway, every half a year or quarterly, u still need to send ur bike for carburettor cleaning.

Anyways if i send my bike for full servicing actually wat do they do to ur bike? change parts or clear those carbon and stuffs? haha

Alamak! I din't start my bike for 2days.. then today when I switch inition key to "ON"

 

The neutral light is soo dim, Headlights cannot on, signal cannot on

 

Use choke to start oso take very long.. finally start liao the headlight can on but if I use highbeam it stalls the engine, signal also can use but oso may stall engine when idle at junction

 

2 days ago the headlight was so bright before I start the engine, now I need to start the engine to have the headlight on.. and may risk the engine stalling..

anyone know why?

Clean Carb will cost ard 15 bucks... Full servicing depends on the shop and also depends u got any faulty parts to be replace...

If for chain lube i use PJ1...

cos ur bike nv move n ur batt haven charged, of cos headlight dim, warm up bike liao then ride around so the batt will be charged loh

service carburetor once a year can liao, go view above posts pls.

 

actually clear carbon also useless, cos the white smoke will still be there.

This is very true! i just tried moving without headlights for a distance, batteries get charge again. back to the usual self with 3-4times kick can start liao

I nid help once again..

My SP is leaking some liquid.. don't smell like petrol or 2T. Don't seem like coolant as the liquid is transparent and don't seem to have any smell.. like plain water but sticky..

 

I suspect it is the 2 month old dry cell battery chemical as my electricals are failing.. i can't ride with headlights on as it will stall my engine at a junction. The battery don't seem to be able to "charge up" itself after every ride.. I can only on the headlight for like seconds before It become invisible when the engine is not on.

 

any ideas wat may be the liquid?

Where is this accumulators?

I suspect is the battery leak but my battery 2months old dry cell.. cos engine other thing working properly and the liquid don't smell like any petrol or 2T..

eh sorry... accumulators = battery haha signaller in camp too long le,too used to calling it accumulators haha most likely ur batt leaking,got bring for check up? btw batt casing so hard still can leak meh? better bring for check up

At least don't stall liao but my signal become dun blink.. Stupid sia!

service carb no need to empty fuel.

2 stroke bikes wifout batt also can start de, if keep stalling, open choke n warm up longer, or change new spark plug(spark plug problem).

 

if ur batt cannot charge, means batt fautly, change new one, or due to 2 other components affecting ur batt, i forgot the name liao.

Maybe it's the wiring prob.. not sure..

the best is u bring to ur mech and tell the problem... it saves time and the headache..

haha i tot signal lites idling dun blink one? onli on move then blink ah not meh haha mine is like that haha for me my batt oso juZ change at jan onli,then early morning when i go camp i usually warm the engine for like 5mins like that (pull choke oso and rev abit) ... if i dun warm it sure stall oso haha

It will blink.. if the battery not charge, won't blink..

 

Anyway during inspection if my horn only works when throttle is on... can pass

as long its not air horn, electric horn should be fine. Some people change back to stock horn before inspection just in case. Some have reported that mod horn may give some trouble at inspection.

 

if all else fails, pay some 30++ bucks to motordiam tell them send inspection for u, guarantee pass.

Why will your engine stall due to battery? Engine works thru Fuel not battery. My friend's SP fuse burnt, nothing works but still can ride to motordiam. If u tell me cannot electric start i understand.

 

i have no idea what is the ideal idle for sports bike but 2.5 sounds high. post in your bike section for better response bah.
