but it's an offer my brother gotten from malaysia.

i wonder if they can be trusted. it's hell lot cheaper den singapore.

and i think i'll stick with sp until class 2 =D hehe.

 

should i go red base black painting? or vice versa? any advices? hehe

Oh, I wont be surprise when you change yr bike or even drive when you clear till class 2 &/or 3.

Because, human changes. Once you are either tempted or discouraged, you'll feel or have the urge to change. Unless, yr determination 101%, then I rest my case.

Ever wonder why they are taught in driving centres when we are pursuing our elusive licences?

Cos, in times of unknown & unpredictable circumstances, it may just come in handy. Heck, I still remember the actions...

Also, sometimes, its just basic road etiquette and or courtesy. Ever actually seen someone doing OTR nowadays? Hardly right?

Also, in a proper bike convoy, sometimes hand signals are use from leader/markers/sweepers to guide or alert purpose.

cannot. beautiful bike must show the world. hahaha. i go work tell the people there they laugh at me. say hear before people handlebar, head lamp, suspension all these kena kapo before but first time hear signal light kena kapo. the bulb cheap cheap 2 dollar also want to take!!!!!!!

Me too. no bike = like dunno what to do that kind. But i also dun have any close friends who have bikes that can go out with me you know. Only depending on you guys.

 

Mab, i sent my bike to Hoe Heng at 1st link. They said they would repair anything on my fairings and scratches as well. 300$sgd. and plus new sprayings as well. hell lot cheaper den singapore.

 

My bro said it's best not to do overhaul at Jb unless you stay there or smth. because they might take ur stock things and keep. i dunno how true. but it's better to be safe den sorry yo!

just stick to your current color, if you wanna wait till class 2 why not change to a fuel saving bike

den again, im selling off my bike soon, very hesitant sale, but to upgrade need money wat riteeeeeee.

some pointers, when squeezing, dont just follow the front or be intimidated from the rear, do it @ your own comfort pace.

unless u know behind is in a rush, slightly go into a space pocket left or right when possible & let the rear bike pass... courtesy goes a long way...

 

to cut it short, way back in '04, sending my wife on our relac TA to checkup, then still dont dare to squeeze, on PIE, morning usual jams, 1st lane, eye sight on the vveerryy front then when switch back to front car.... brokeback the MPV...

apparently not far from front had an accident when caused cars behind to e-brake... & I was the unlucky that day...

 

lesson learnt. to squeeze or dun squeeze @ all... trained myself laterwards after I start to rode again.

now my riding mood has 2 mode: Defensive & Offensive.

 

Defensive: Ride guai guai, no anyhow lane changing, no speed abv 90km/h, signal when needed, stop behind vehicles on red...

 

Offensive: To cut my journey time, shall nt say much as this is not encouraging...

when squeezing inbetween vehicles, there'll be times whereby someone will be behind you, from the mirror reflections(if yours is still there), you can judge if he/she is in a rush, therefore slightly move into the (pockets) space behind the vehicles to let them thru. get it?

 

tats a waste of $$.

y dont turn it on? forget? bulb blow? save battery? mks you faster by hw many km/hr?

former two can forgive, latter two is a no brainer..

 

bikes are normally in the blind spot & always vulnerable on the road.

making yourselves visible is the least you can do for your own safety, not lane changing recklessly or racing against each other.

 

Your freedom to ride doesnt meant you shld ride as you wish.

Cheerish wat you have now & live to reminiscence when you are old...

 

I know, my preaching may turn on deaf ears. This is afterall, up to each own individual to accept or not.

 

Last note, is it more meaningful when you can spend your cold hard cash on something you would benefit or, to the gahmen & feeling unjustified?

I always never turn on my headlights when the sun is bright, cos my bike so big like one car already.. So i follow car rules and never turn it on. But when see big white bikes quick flick the switch on lah
