collected my bike in the late morning. fantastic ride, although it's a wet ride coz of the rain. The handling is good. everything is fantastic. One thing that i feel unsafe is the brakes. It doesn't really response when I squeezed/press the lever until sometimes.

Btw, is the digital speedometer accurate?

Congrats on getting your bike. the speedo is accurate, the fuel guage if you notice when you tilt your bike towards the left side while sitted you will see it go up, thats when the tank is not really full. so try to have your bike vertical to get accurate fuel reading.

The brakes are great, just need to season it a bit. I had finished my first servicing at 500+km. The brakes are very responsive. abit annoying is that sometimes i forget that i had place my foot on the rear break pedal and I will start to wonder why my pickup is so weak

the digital console can get moody sometimes. the backlit won't come on after you start your engine. what i do is that i off my engine wait for a while then start again usually it will come on.

Hi guys, just got my pulsar last sat. Chance upon Mercenary’s thread and decided to try out his product. Met up with him on sat and had the product fixed onto my bike.

After installing, the first observation was that the engine becomes smoother and the throttle response improves. The light seems to be brighter too. Btw, the vehicle is still in its running-in stage. Once I had done with the running-in, I will try to post more feedbacks on the pro & con of this product.

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

Well yes. You can choose to use kick start or electric start anytime.. But obviously electric start is easier. We are already trained to use electric start during our riding lessons..

When u guys changed engine oil at Universal, do u guys being charged seperately for GST? I've changed mine to Chex (spelling?) from Germany. and to my surprise, Michael said the price does not include GST

Other shops that I've been, the price quoted prior to engine oil flush is final and nett. Though it's just small amount, I feel it's quite unfair. And the old lady was very eager to take money from me as if i'll run away. :sian:

How much do you guys spend on maintanence monthly? Approx....

Never stick to 1 bike shop for servicing...

Must try to go around the island to service so that you'll know which shop is reliable...

That depends on how much you've riden the bike.

If you have ride it almost every mintues, able to hit 5000km in just 1 month then your maintenance will be higher la.

Anyway, just need to change 1 bottle EO every 5000km, check your spark plug, normally i'll change around 15000km (or when you find starting of bike is not as smooth as it is), check brake pad, if you're those hardcore rider, then maybe you'll need to change better brake pad within months! Check for the brake disc as well, if the brake pad is too hard, it tends to "makan" away the disc brake.

After all i can say that pulsar is really a very low low low maintenance bike (but still need to do basic maintenance la). With such a good fuel comsumption, i can believe that this bike really help me save a huge sum of money monthly!!!

EO change is 2500km hor not 5000km hor wait ur piston jam we dunno huh hahahaha.

Plug i recommend to change every 10,000km...

that's about all.

EO i change myself then collect back the EO into the new EO btl which i poured into the bike, go my hse the bikeshop juz leave it there they will dispose for u... actually the bikeshops are paid by oil recycling companies for their used oil... so to them they still earn.
