 tat nite i only view the diversion HIDs in the carpark, looks bright to me. Then sat morning i also view Mr Limbat HIDs, seems bright to me too. But then i have not seen both performance in total darkness on NSHW, so i can't comment yet, its a draw for the time being

Ha ha ha... not meant to be a competition lah... But anyway, must take note of the lamp casing construction also when you install HID, if not, the light will be thrown all over the place, that will make other road users think that HID users are nuisance. :cheeky:

Anyway, I think the Diversion has the older type lamp casing where there are lines on the lens to help refract the lights from the older halogen bulb (unless he changed it before I left).

From what I understand, the clear plastic type lens (usually installed for new bikes now) seemed to be better... Somebody do correct me if I am wrong...

Fatbiker .......... U R correct ........ the newer or modern clear plastic type lens on newer bikes project lights in front & horizontally across the road. Unlike older version ( usually the round type smilar to S4 type) - which project the light beam 360 degrees outwards ...... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

:giddy: I forsee tat price of HID might 1day go down to price which is comparable to those high end halogen bulbs like philips vision series......... :giddy: Maybe cheap until no need to worry abt spoil & repair, just throw & replace new set, like BATA shoes :giddy:

Do you have any other options on Aux. HID. My bike only has 1 H4 bulb, I do not have 2 bulbs where like you can change 1 of them to HID. :cheer:

i also haf a single H4 bulb only. but good thing is H4 has hi lo beam.. lo beam as HID and hi beam as Halogen bulb..

maybe u could change to that and when rd black, off HID on halogen

No more regrets.

Well, there is another way to do this - build a pilot light into the lamp casing. So in Sg just switch on the pilot light & HID H4 when U need them ...... :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:
