I will be back in early march liao... Almost 1 year in China and I miss Nasi lemak also leh

 

I have just seen that the date is 18th Mar 06... might not be able to make it for that date because it is too near my departure date liao.

actually, i was in the same position as u.. it took me 5 months b4 decided to install the HID. and was happy when Limbat has 2nd hand sets for me

 

 

Limbat: maybe wait for fatbiker to organise. maybe he can organise MO outing as well. lolz

wah.... 5 months to decide..... tat's a long time, For me i'm hesitating cos this involve the electrical system of the bike. Another issue is installing this expensive system never mind, but if expensive & somemore c*** up due to sloppy workmanship & affecting other part of the electrical system then it's really jialiat liao, cos $$ pay up liao. The contractor doing the job will not follow up if there's any problem.

 

I had kena this bad situation at racewerk when i did my grounding for my previous bike, 2 month problem start to come out. My electrical components meltdown. I went back & fook the fella who did the job upside down, but also no use cos its 2 months later.

how did a grounding mod caused the electrical components to meltdown ? I would think that it's the safest mod to do although it's effectiveness is questionable for non-ECU bikes.

Hey........ Cheeko ......... how old is yr bike when u were doing the grounding - dun see how grounding can cause yr electrical parts to melt down....

 

u have been saying tt HIDs system is expensive - may i know base on wat ground & compare to wat other system, Halogens ?? So why not compare between Ferarris & Toyotas or between Gold & Copper............. Aiyoooo Pls laaa

 

If U dun need it, dun put it down ... laaaa a simple fact is HIDs at 35watt produces 4000 lumen & all weather capability - Halogens ( $2.50 - $76 ) onli produce at 60watts 1650 lumen & most does not have all weather capability...

 

So how to compare ............. ley

Its like a jump from $8 a bulb to $250 a bulb. but bear in mind, its a HID system totally different from bulb.

 

it took me 5 months becoz i was considering whether its worth it. firstly, its ex, compared to halogen bulbs of course. 2ndly, do i really need them?

 

according to limbat, he said i have an artificial need for HIDs. to me, HIDs are a must.. for me la

 

and i have done quite a lot of research on HIDs b4 i decided to fix them on. probability of HID spoiling ur electrical system and probability of HID breaking down is very low. hence i got them. till now, im happy with them
