I pretty much know the light gives a wider vision. But does it shine further then the stock? I need someone who had it fixed on to advice if possible.

If not or the same can anyone suggest? I need a head light that goes really far.

 actually it is very bright, it can also shine wide, but it can't shine far, this is also due to my fark up reflectors on my current bike. Which is i'm y i'm going to convert mine into 2eye jack HIDs soon. Now only waiting to compare the difference in fog & rain situations between 3000k,4000k & 5000k bulbs from FATBIKER.

So in certain situations the HIDs is kinda redundant. But 1 good thing abt the HIDs is, it is so bright drivers from far will be able to notice u & slow down. So in a way, it is good on safety aspect.

 actually the stock headlights for FJR1300 is already very good, which is y i didn't install a set of HIDs previously. But then again, the design of the reflectors are very good for the FJR, u might wana install HIDs to test it out, the effect might be even better. Maybe u can let me noe after tat good or not :cheeky:

For me, my reflector fark up, so no choice have a install another HIDs bulb to see how's the effect :sian:

Mr. Cheeko, wat wrong wif yr reflector - is your reflector damage or corroded ??

Wat is the projected light beam like ? There maybe some other problems, did U

noticed any difference b4 U install ur HID set ?

I really dun think installing 2 set of HIDs will help in your case.

to shine far, only projection headlamps are able to do the job.

the only solution to shine far for non projection headlamps bikes is HID. at least it can shine much much further den ur stock headlights.

No more regrets.

Thanks guys  You all have been helpful.

I just ring up Motoworld. They are selling the high beam, low beam and high/low beam type. I told them what I need is to shine far during my night trip in malaysia, but in spore I still can stick to the usual "not so bright" stock low beam. They quote me $690. Reasonable?
