Hi peps.. I'm new to the bike world, so when hearing the sound is very worried.. The sound is like two metal parts rubbing each other.. It come when I'm moving off.. At low speed.. Like can't engage into gear.. Very significant when carrying pillion.. Its about few seconds and i open more trottle its gone.. BTW bought my VXR secondhand.. Can the expert here help me on this.. Don't want to go to bike shop with no knowledge n kena chop by them.. Atleast with some idea of my problem, the shop can't squeeze me...

it is a slipping sound? when you throttle, it sound off and your bike is not moving. unless u open more or longer a little bit and then it move?

If is, is 150% clutch slip, either service or replace it.

:cheer:

Glad to have u in my life : ) Always love one another!

Its normal cos when u turn on the power, the bike will do some system check so all lights will light up for 2 -3 sec and then back to normal. If it doesnt light up mean something is wrong .

When someone sees you crying, and ask: "Are you ok?" Punch them in the face, and ask: "Now, are you ok?".

hi any of you experience fuel gauge problem. when I pump full tank, my fuel gauge still show that it's on half mark, I thought maybe is due to bike too hot, but went to look at it when my bike is cool off,the gauge is still at half. any bros here can help? thanks in advance.

Posted

Yup! But that didn't bother much as I'm depending more on the mileage displayed provided no fuel leakage.

Reserved @ 200km. And can go another 20km anytime b4 topping-up.

Cheers!

its very common for the gauge to be faulty... just depend on mileage will do as An3pZ mention.... sometimes after awhile the gauge will go back to normal itself... happens to mine too

Hi guys! I need help from anyone who's been riding gilera for ages. I had my bike repaired at sunrise euro and find out that my headblock is spoilt. And they charge me 1k plus for changing the headblock, rear tyre and normal service? Isn't it too expensive? Anyone with a great knowledge about it, can you help me out. Thank you.

Remove the circuit board to clean. That's what i did and perfectly working fine for the past 1 year..

still pricey. engine block only cost u 250 import from UK(including tax and import fee). labour fee the MOST give them 150. engine oil 20$, coolant 20$. why change rear tyre did u ask? and for normal service what did they change and did? state and do your maths.
