if you have change your exhaust and not tune it , maybe it's running very lean at the certain throttle setting

bro you tuned jour jettings at the shop how much uh? I changing to air filters soon.

Its either the air tuning not ryte or got water in ur petrol tank. both happen 2 me b4.

Go to mechanic & check ok!

 

btw u got petrol tank cover.?

Encounter this problem with my '06 runner.

 

Engine stalled whenever i close trottle, but able to electric start again.

So i everytime reach traffic light have to trottle it to maintain rpm at 2k..

 

Battery shd be alright be'cos the bike can starts easily everytime..

 

So.. anyone able to dignose what happen to e runner?

Oh... Forgot to add.. Service the below 500km ago..

-Spark Plug

-Air filter

-Engine oil

-oil filter

When i start the bike.. rpm will goes up to 2k..after 1+ min or so.. it will go down to 1.5k .. izzit carb dirty??

I have this problem with my runner VXR as well as my Vespa GT!

Now I'm riding Majesty400 also have this problem!

All three bikes are bought brand new/first owner.

Send to Piaggio SC & HL SC, Svc AD also cannot tell me the real cause!

Piaggio SC svc AD even blame me for under using my bike!!!

The problem will keep coming back even after repairing/no use! That is why I change my VXR to Majesty. Hopefully my Majesty will not stall on me again!

hmm...i dun tink its a problem cant b solve...i had this problem too last week..now no more but i dunnoe what i do ah....maybe turn off throttle slowly or try to speed up ur bike once in awhile...maybe bike still cold..i dunnoe ah..just guessing...i dun encounter the probs nemore..

dun think the bike is cold.. cos will warm up and it will stalled even in the afternoon after a long ride...

 

anyway... anyone heard of SINMA battery ? heard is a korean brand.. they quote me $75 for runner batt.. izzit ex ? anyone change Yuasa batt for runner? how much is it?

Got the problem fixed at Future .. it's a rubber joint at the carb that are leaking, a young mechanic was fixing it for me.. cost me $45 to fix it .. quite happy with the price and the service there..

Or air filter (if open port) is too dirty oreadi!

Hi guys,

 

I need some advice =(

 

My Gilera ST200 (just 3 months old) broke down today. I haven't rode it over the entire weekend. Then today, when I turned on the ignition, there was a very loud "POP". Damn scary.

 

I checked and the picture shows the damage. I think that part burst open. There was smoke coming out from the crack and oil or some sort of liquid dripping down. I didn't dare to start my engine again.

 

Please advise...what's wrong? Haiz...hope my engine's not fried.

dude dont worry ...its nothing ...the area in the pic is just your air box..its probably you have unused petrol (over flow) and when you start your bike, the fuel then got burnt..no worries....better to change to an open pod...ha ha ha

Open pod can get from many Gilera specialists. Tai Hin, Future Scootering, Sunrise at Kallang ave. Then theres Mach Speed Motors at Eunos ave 4. Maybe theres more places but im new so not that sure. Got alot of brands so maybe can get advice from the experts on which is better. Cheers!

 

Btw I used Malossi then changed to Hurricane, fyi.

Hi guys, how much to change to an open pod airbox? I'm deciding if i should bring back to piaggio or directly to another bike shop to modify the airbox =)
