i've no exp in auto transmission bike so i'll try my best to explain my situation here, please advise on 'What could be the cause?':

During stationary move-off, my bike is kinda 'coughing' & 'jerking' until i open up to 70% throttle, it manages to solve most of the 'coughing' (>80km/hr).

I'll try to put it in this way, in a manual bike eg:

u try to move off from stationary using 3th gear, bike like no power & keep coughing until it reaches mid RPM den bike returns to normal state.

Things i replace to dated:

Engine Oil & Gear Oil (Shouldn't be it causing it)

Spark plug & Air Filter (Before replacement, bike oreadi like this. replace oso like this -.-)

I think is the carb, belt or variator.

any pro pls?

from what you mentions > (if i am not wrong)

1. carb problem

a. need to clean up

b. setting of jets

Did you change to open pod filter?

2. Clutch problem?

Call me to explain, it might be more easy to find out what happen, making more guess will make you more confuse

HI,

I own a 2008 Runner 200 ST.

Anyone know a rear turn signals that seat inside the rear wings ?

Like the Proton products.

Second, Can the stock relay handle led's ?

Thanks,

Roei

there's rear LED brake lights with signal, if you only change the rear, it shouldn't be any problem.

alright its not fried, the soft rubbery portion behind the rectifier is harden and cracked. water probably seeped thru and damaged the thing. How the hell did this even happen and the rectifier didnt look orginal to me.

Hope that this would help other riders out there when they do a search regarding this.

gilera runners are one of the few bikes in Class 2B that is expensive to maintain..they say its becoz of the italian made parts..a normal routine servicing will cost u at least $200..imagine $800 for an aftermarket rear suspensions and $1200+ for aftermarket front forks..hahaha

It all depend what you need, some place ovehual engine just use few hours, some place overhaul may take 1 - 2 days. because labour cost also different.

Best is find out what actually happen, then you can get a better quote because by then you will know what need to be change.

Top overhaul is fast, a few hours job. Full overhaul involves taking apart the engine which will take more days. How old is ur scoot? new or second hand? What makes u think u need a overhaul?

Hey Gilera brudders,

My Gilera 07 VXR 200 RPM meter is not working properly. The needle is not as sensitive as it should be. When throttled, the needle will be stuck between 3-6 RPM. When the bike stop (waiting for red light), the needle will drop to either 1.5 or 2. When move off, it will get stuck again. However, the rest like speedometer, fuel indicator are all working. Only the RPM meter seems to be not working as it should.

So i hope someone could advise me on what to do? what to check? if really the RPM meter is not werking, how much it cost to be replaced? Thanx in advance for all the advices given.
