I have a yellow Honda Helix 250 for sale at $1700. It is an auto scooter and the COE ends in Feb 2013 while the road tax ends in May 2007. The engine condition is good and the bike needs no repairs at all. Pick-up is good and the fuel consumption is about 28km/l. The rear trunk is big enough to install a radio and hold all your barang barang at the same time. It has a big and comfortable seat and the lowest seat height of all the big scooters! Maintenance wise, it is relatively low as it doesn't have an oil filter and only needs regular changing of engine oil. For spare parts, it is easily the cheapest as they can be bought from China. It also comes with a 46l rear box that has a working stoplight and is big enough to store two fullface helmets. Pictures are here:

For those who don't know much about the Honda Helix, it was introduced in 1986 as the Honda Helix in the United States and Honda Fusion in Japan. Till today, it is still in production with very little changes having been made from the original 1986 version. It is very popular in the US due to it having completed the Iron Butt Rally of 1995. In this race, the Helix was ridden around the United States for 9,361 miles (14977 km) in 11 days and came in ahead of Honda Gold Wings, ST1100s, a Yamaha Venture, BMWs, Harleys, an FJ1200, a GSX-R1100 and even a ZX-11. Engine is stock....

 

clutch and mounting bars changed less than 6 months ago...

 

Belt, Rollers, U clip and O-ring changed on 15th Dec.

 

Malossi Red air filter sponge

 

Speedometer decoder changed around May 06.

 

Fuel Lines changed in August 06.

 

Using Michelin Gold Standard tyres.

 

I use only good engine oil during my time with the bike. Conoco, Castrol R4, Maxima.

 

Always add STP Fuel System cleaner every 4 months or so.Engine is in good condition.

 

Other accessories installed:

1. Alarm System with seat opener. Spare remote control available.

2. Digital Voltmeter

3. 3rd brake light on box.

4. 2 Bottle Cages on the front panel to put your can/bottled drinks

5. Stebel Electric Horn.

6. Cover for the LCD panel.

7. PICS system also installed. Never used before though. Earpiece have to buy

yourself.

8. Splitfire sparkplug cable.

 

Magnetic Coil and water pump no problem. Have been riding this baby since febuary 06. Im not sure if the previous owner has changed them though.

 

All servicing & accessories done at tai hin.

 

Road tax will be till Jan 08.I will renew it in Jan 07 for 1 year.
