Generally fi engine are runs hotter due to the better efficiency in burning fuel to produce better exhaust emisson. I agree on changing to engine ice to improve on the cooling efficiency on these hot fi engines. One way to reduce the heat is to stick some aluminum ducting tape underneath the tank. Can get at most hardware shops and use tankbra to reduce the heat transfer from tank to crotch and tighs.

 

I think paste alu insulator reflector below the tank not recommended bcoz which is only reduce the tank heat but will caused fuel injector & electrical compartment area below the tank hotter than b4 & the shelf life might be reduced. I advise at least keep min 1/3 fuel tank to let ur tight & fuel injector compartment comfortable b4 use engine ice.

Trust me bro i've no issues with damaged electricals or injectors due to installing aluminum duct tape underneath the tank..been using this technique to combat heat on the tigh since i had my vtec 3 in 2007 and changed to blackbird (fi model) in 2009(do the same aluminum on it also)..my oldman Fbc plated revo i also install it..so far not even once i melted or damage the solenoid injectors or wire harness..

I was quoted $12.5k for Spec2, COE till 2022, blueflame,shadow voltmeter, scottoiler, front & rear carbon fibre hugger.

 

$8.8k for Spec3 (fully stock), COE till 2016

 

$9.8k for Spec3 (fully stock), COE till 2017

I have question to ask... I going to buy a super4 Spec 3 for 7k... COE end at 2017 mileage 60k+++ which the owner never been touch or service and inspection for 2 year (due to overseas) battery is flat with a bit of rust at fork, handle bar... do u all guy think is worth it? I know it going to do a full service change battery and tyre like that.... Could I hear from u guys for advices please

Worth it la ! Since changing battery and tires will probably set you back by less than $500 . But who knows what other problems you might face when you bought it without even starting the bike before .

Nv inspect for 2 yrs so I assume also no rd tax for 2 yrs.. Maybe u should find out how much is the fine for that 1st..

But I am planning to bring the bike out, pay instalments to them and i service the bike at my own preffered bike shop. Hmm sorry but sad to say I know nothing about Super 4 yet.. My current ride is a classic vespa. Big transition over. Maybe can I get some guidance from you please haha

hey guys. i asked asphoon just now the price of s4 revo. its 18k++ 1st hand. is it worth to buy? its almost the same price as class 2 bikes. plus nc700x is almost at the same price.
