Street legal pipe, not meant for your bike?

Hi guys,

i got a question here. lets say i wanna buy an aftermarket pipe for my bike and i bought one which is for similar cc and also street legal, but it is not stated to be for your bike, will it pass the inspection?

 

example: i have a gsxr400 and i wanna buy a street legal yoshi pipe meant for cbr400. i fabricate midpipes and mounting points to make the pipe fit perfectly and send it for inspection. will it pass?

u need bikeshop/agent paperwork 2 go through the inspection only aft the inspection u do wat u like ... correct me if not wrong...

hi bro any1 noe if i got tis after market pipe. got the previous owner inspection letter, the pipe diagram but the cert he lost it. can i still do transfer ownership?

100% not legal. you might hav all the papers, but it's still considered illegal modifications.
