whaa.aha.... It's all about adjustment rite??? Here abit.. there abit... ke.ke..ke.. With the cost of $700++ is simply too ex. That's about 11.7% of the bike cost. I still prefer the yoshi carb. Looks more sleek & black in color.. simply matches the color of my Ass... ke.ke.ke...

The TM MJN is overpriced. Its just a 2stroke TM carb. Modified a little by Yoshi to suit 4stroke monkey bikes. It doesn't have accelerator pump. Simply not worth while getting it.

Might as well get the plain TM24. Half the price of the TM MJN. Right Mod? If you like black things in yr ass, simply spray it black lor. Else anodise it black also possible. But very troublesome la..

Shld be fine... if you find your bar too low.. u can replace stock clamps with a higher clamp.

im using a renthal fatbar.

and of course you need those clamps.

i find it quite akward ..but maybe mine was a low bend tats why..maybe a high bend will just be nice..

YOSHIMURA-MIKUNI TMR-MJN

MJN Carburetor / Theory is simple!

The reasons are as follows;

1) MJN system can atomize fuel much better than ordinary solid type needles.

2) It is because MJN nozzle controls the amount of fuel in proportion to the throttle opening (the air), by numbers of accurately drilled small holes.

3) Better atomized fuel gives better throttle response as well as better fuel efficiencies.

4) Also, MJN system can supply the fuel through the MJN nozzle which locates at the center of the bore where air speed is the fastest. This also atomizes fuel even better! Another very important theory of MJN system is when the throttle is shut off for engine braking, very minimal amount of fuel is guided into the intake ports. Therefore remarkable recovering acceleration can be obtained.

just take note guys..if you have mod your engine..please have a regular check on all the screws...for sure it will go missing or loose...

i had one screw missing on the seat when i realised my exhaust is loose..

and the Best part was after changing my sprocket i tighten my rear tyre.i found my tyre is still loose but its still attached to the swing arm..then i realised the screw that tighten up my swing arm bar to the body is loose...and same with the screw that mount your engine to the body frame..

thank goodness i see all that and tighten it up....

i guess its the vibration that caused it....So guys have a check on your screws and nuts frequently......

Damn i thought only harley have this prob....our madass oso same ..hehehehehe...im gonna get some sort of "glue" i dont noe what u call it to lock the screw..can get it at hardware store..i think that will solve the problem..

Bro, I believe what you are refering to is called "Lock Nut"... it's a nut with a black rubber seal...you can replace yr bike with such nuts. Then no matter how the bike vibrates, the nut will not be loosen. The only problem is the sizes of nuts there are in the bike.

So i would recommend to go to a Specialized "SCREW" shop.... ke..ke...ke... It's not a hardware shop.... All sorts of screws , nuts, washers.. big, small, long, short, fat, thin, thick, steel, alum,. U name it.. they got it.

I forgot to mention.. one such shop is located at Sungei Road. Remeber to bring samples to the shop, they will help will find the same or equivalent replacement.

there is one shop : Pan Sun Hardware Pte Ltd located at block 803 King George's Avenue #01-174 ( shop front is facing Jalan Besar Stadium)

Notes:

- the bolts & nuts to be xchanged must be shown to them for matching.

- if not, verbal indication of dimensions must be accurate lor...

- other shops to try are Tat Eng & Sin Hong.

i used to change all necessary accessible bolts & nuts during my earlier years of project rebuilds, a lot of fun & commitment at tat time....

cheers!!!:cheeky:

oic... for liquid-mode locking, there is this brand called LOCTITE.

most mechanics use this brand. but many many specs available. Some range is blue color liquid, some is red color liquid.

another simple mode of tightening is either of the following:

- add one spring washer wherever/whenever possible

- if not, add one more of the same nut to "lock" the first nut in.
