Hi Guys

Iam a new owner of the Madass 125 and a new member to this forum.I like to ask everyone if their was ever a problem with your bikes runnig rough while its in gear? the engine runs really good when it is at the neutral position but once i put it into 1st gear or any of the gears the bike runs really rough,its like its cutting out loss of power..then again shifting to neutral and everythings fine again and idles good.All you info. wil be much appreciated

Maybe fuel tank or carbs kena water..same symptoms with my previous 1982 RD125LC..:dozed:

Hi...just got my madass a few days ago..anyone here have the manual to borrow me? Would like to read it up..anyway, my engine's 120cc only..izzit the same as everyone else?

Anyway this thread used to have lots of activities. What happened to the asses out there? Mod u still there? From what i read, you're like the shi fu!

Proud owner of a Sachs Madass 125. Installed box for convenience. Been riding my Madass for 2500km now and was wondering how many others are like me? Maybe we can start a group or something and organize outings. Sure will get stares if 10 or more Madassers were to ride simultaneously on the road. Regardless of race, language or religion. ;p

I'm a 25 year old malay guy working for Alstom, Circle Line Project.

hi my name is john, i just got my madass 125 today.i been working on it right out of box.1st thing i did was install the shorty ass pipe,then milled head for a bit more pep,oil cooler and sprokets, 19 front 28 back.put in the battary. checked tire psi added gas started after about 2 sec.sounded awsome,hoped on it drove it down the road.this thing is so light its like ur on air.i hoped on the fwy se what she had.took a bout 3 min but i was coasting along at 98mph never got hot people were looking at me like wtf is that..

hi guys.

i wanna change my sachs mad ass 125 engine. Replacing it with a 125cc japanese engine and gearbox.

 

my current gear box is screwed up on the 2nd and 3rd shift.

i bought another one from sachs.hk and that ****ing stupid illiterate ***** didn't understand what i was searching for. Instead of giving me a complete new gear box ,she gave me a secondhand gear box whose 2nd and 3rd gear box is screwed up.

now am searching for a japanese engine and gearbox compatible with the sachs mad ass chassis. i also bought the oko carburetor 28min and the direct air filter.

hi, its that stupid Chinese gearbox.

i have the same problem with the 2nd and 3rd gear.

at first it happened to only the 3rd

after a month the 2nd one screwed up.

u have to change gear box completely.

am going to change engine completely as i dont trust Chinese engine.

 

Actually ,the bike has a problem in its gear box. while i was in H.K.

i was at the distributors warehouse. saw a couple of mad ass with broken gear box.

In Singapore also i saw 3-4 mad ass with broken gear box at Mah.pte

and Mah motors near SC video game

hi all,

 

didn't know thi thread still quite alive. it has been about 1.5 year since i bought this bike brand new. hell of a bike, bad control, bad drivability. But nice and cool to ride on! ^^

 

i have been doing lots of mod on it need this Feb till now, i am still improving it. hope my sharing will help the brothers here to improve its drivability.

 

Mod done Feb 2009:

1. Change carb to a big sized 38mm (fuel comsumption when up alot)

2. Big bore of engine on its original sleeve to 150cc.

3. Down size the original sprocket from 46t to 42t.

4. Operated tail muff straight through to achieve max out flow.

5. Air intake direct without any filter to acheive max intake.

 

Seriously upon doing the above mentioned, i already hit 110km/hr max, and remove the bad vibration. drivability improve slightly, still i am not satisfy, thus:

 

Mod done Sep 2009 (bike still under operation):

1. Improve on the gearbox by changing close ratio of 3rd & 4th gear.

2. Replace the original clutch with a performance clutch to acheive max grip.

3. Replace the heavy rims with a RXK spoky allum light weight rims. (You have to sacrific the rear disc brake to a drum break after swaping the rims.

4. Further down size the sprocket from 42t to 36t. (Hope to cruise at 120km/hr.

 

I am really excited now and curious how this maddie will turn out to be after decided to change the gears and rims. I think its going to be really mad riding on it! haaa. i will try to post some pictures after its completely mod up. really have to thks boss JAWA at shunli industrial who willing to help me mod this maddie.

also if u have a good address for mods on sachs mad ass .this will be really helpful.

Hey, dying thread probably due to the high turnover rate of madasses. It seems that quite a number of MA is being sold in this site.

 

However, I'm still gg strong with my madass. Done a few mods. Thinking of furthering the mods. i.e.

 

1) getting the 39T rear sprocket (currently on 44T)

2) Customizing the exhaust. Any ideas anyone?

3) open pod filter which will not be affected by rain. IF THERE IS ONE! haha

 

Anyway, anyone here been to MAH? Im not sure what Madass' accessories/parts they are selling. Enlighten me anyone?

 

Going JB next weekend to find anything that can be fixed on my ass. HAHA

Done it at a car shop in woodlands for $200+. Can't remember got power increase or not because I now use to it. Looks better lar, that's most impt.

 

Other than that my Madass is stock.

No cheap lobangs at the moment bro.

I believe if you want quality, OOracing is the best at the moment. Sad that none of the bike shops here really sell stuffs for MA.

But nevertheless, we can still buy them from overseas!

 

I assume that your bike has not undergone vicom inspection yet. Wonder if they will notice MA exhaust modification (i.e. shortening of endcans) and engine swap...

Focus group study for a client who wishes to test a product idea.

Please help, looking for women who ride (motorcycles, scooters) and bike (bicycle) for this study.

 

Will need about one hour of your time to look at this product and answer some questions – MCQs & some open ended ones. Each participant will be paid $30, refreshments will be served.
