far u change the coil till now anything happen? i heard meng tong says that is the coil problem, not the bike.. so if luckily, will get the problem coil again, there is one RR4 change 3 coils at meng tong b4... :giddy:

Rick, dun think anyone of us installed that to our bike before.

About how to tell a bike which got imbalance injectors?

I had wanted to give it a retune since doing something to the bike. ''Lucky'' for me, when the bike is being tuned on the dyno machine, you can see that the bike is jerking and the dynoed graph is something like an eratic heartbeat scanned graph. The mechanic then take the 4 injectors to be balance by a car shop around the area and was charged $35 per injector and we've got 4 of them.

 

What could have cost the injectors to be imbalance?

Should be going through quite a lot of uneven road like pot holes which hip-cupped your bike or if you have dropped your bike before. Any impact ''activities'' can be the contributing factors.

 

After balancing and retuned, the smoothness is back. Feels like the time i had just got my bike.

Having a 2nd honeymoon with my bike now except that i haven give it a good bath just yet...

I was hungry and lusting for some porridge at Maxwell market that night.

How much the LED?

Still remember date ah.

Do call the rvf gang guys for a gathering before you leave man.

Can't believe that i am going to miss another friend due to work commitment.

at the jb checkpoint , saw one blader , repsol design and another blade behind...

wen goin home , the repsol blade in front of me...

My Blade was blessed by a monk from Bhutan. It's an auspicious bike. Pipe also has an unprecedented permit. :cheeky:

The magnetic coils by the looks of it.. seem ok coz once you got the bike started they are providing the electrical power to keep the bike going.

 

The issue here is whether the rectifier is doing its job and converting the alternating current produced by the magnetic coils into direct current to recharge your battery. If the rectifier DC output checks out fine, then it could be that the battery is internally shorted and therefore unable to hold its charge.

If you see properly on the meter, the HESD damper will also not work & keep flashing.

 

Ok wait up, my CB6RR is a parallel import but registered under Boon Siew. Is it still considered warranty?

What do mean warranty cannot claim ? If his a BS bike he can claim as it is under warranty.What's the purpose of the warranty then ? For ur info a fellow blader

using the nick 'Afdah' had his coil replaced F.O.C by BS as his bike is under warranty.

Just go to BS to check.BS will take your engine & chassis # & will tell you

whether your bike is indeed theirs or parallel import.If it is theirs & your bike shop have not given you your warranty card yet,BS will give you on the spot !

 

For my case,no flashing of lights.Only noticed when I tried to start my bike,

the cranking sounded liked the batt was weak.After work tried to start my bike but

totally 'kaput' ! Push start the bike & went home.While in neutral,I noticed the neutral light dimmed but when I trottled the neutral light became bright.

hah??? is tat truth??? wa low, i still donno leh... tat time when i bought it, i ask the bike shop is it under bs warraty, they just say no leh, i never bring to bs and cheack.... :giddy:

For everybody's info,it is the coil problem not the bike problem !

The 1st batch of coils got the problem not in sg only but overseas as well.

Hope that Honda will rectify the coil.

 

Michael what you said about a few blades got burnt coil twice less than a year is true !

My mechanic even told me the same story :giddy:
