:cheeky: Yeap... Better be careful... Did you stay till finish? Heard a few people asking to finish a bit later because of the delay. Also did you see the white VTR with full system? I thought he was super fast there...

After the low side at Turn 4, the front end just slid away at the apex of the turn (happened so fast I did not even know what hit me), I came into the pits to check the bike out. Othere than alot of cosmetic damage on the right side fairings, the front brake lever was broken and the throttle was sticky.

I sorted out the throttle stickiness by breaking off the throttle plastic sleeving coz it was being restricted by the crash induced flared end of the right hand clip on. I still could apply front brakes but with one finger. I normally use two fingers on the front brakes so I gave up the idea of going back on the track. (Not going to be nice to hit someone in the rear due poor braking!!).

Anyway, I had the most fun on Saturday evening, it was a session that made the ride from Singapore worth the effort.

Go to:

http://www.insports-images.com/

Lots of pictures of the bikes that were on the track that Saturday.

I am very tempted to buy a few of the pictures for memory keepsake.

Michael, have you tuned your bike? What difference do you feel overall?

Rick, the ''knock'' i meant is not the "ping" which can be solved by doing valve shims.

Is the ''kok kok'' sound when like in a carpark 2nd gear, too slow speed and no clutch in.

That's my 6th sense feel-la-vision.

My 6th sense also have prediction capabilities which tells me that i am going to strike 4D soon.

Tashi, when i took out my stock exhuast without tuning, rpm from around 4k rpm and below is running rich, very rich infact. Because the exhuast valve located at the down pipe is off and that means our valve is always open.

I can jammed from orchard road to shenton way without activating the fan during knock off hours. But the pullness of low end isn't there. After tuning the bike to run lean from 6k rpm and below, fan keep spinning like the "Mo Tian Lun" we took back at the theme park.

You blow at Bohdi ah. He cannot tahan scared 1 okie. Wait Ash heart pain.

Tml nite, ... or should i call it tonite? Tuesday lah, Kwok Song jio me go petrol. I going, wanna come? Saturday you know i wont be free. I wanna help Bohdi revenge.

Or should i just post the pic of you steaming your hair like auntie huh.

Call me if you coming.

Any petrol-ler tonite?

u mean my akra? oh wat i feel is smoother lor.. power there is la... but at low rpm, it like abit bo lat... when it pas 3000rpm the power is better than stock... wat unity ppl tell me is tat i would need a pc3 to make my akra perform better lor.. so wat full system u going to change?

We all put it around the handle bar area. It can be done. That's the most headache part, where ever you put it is ugly.

On the contrary Tashi. AT enjoyed himself tremendously.

He was having a blast going round and round the track. But you gotta give him your respect.

He rode in the rain all the way to Sepang with me, no rest, straight onto the track for the session and then rode all the way back to Singapore in the night!! Endurance racer lah this one.

I think there is one picture of him on the first page.

Today it happened.

My coil got grilled!

Suspected my battery was going last night when I came home from work.

Symtpoms are:

1. When cranking the bike, the green neutral light looks weak.

2. I usually crank the bike when the tacho needle hits the highest point, when battery is weak, the needle will go up and down twice, as if there wasn't enough juice to store in memory that the needle already went up and down once, so it does it one more time.

This morning, went to work, the above symtpoms persisted, during lunch, went out, still it was there, so decided to detour and went to the bike shop. That was when there wasn't enough juice to crank the engine. What luck. I could be stuck in Pagoh if it happened last week.

It was only last week when I wrote to BS. No official reply from them yet ... not surprising.

Unofficial reply is that Honda Japan didn't issue any recall, so they can't do anything.

Posted

Even if your coil had been replaced, I would suggest to have it checked 1 day before your warranty expires. That is how you can maximize your warranty. Using the volt meter is insufficient, the coil MUST be physically inspected.

It gets grilled in "slow cook" mode.

Good luck Bladers!
