I’ll place a MO soon. Have to order from US. If anyone of you guys pass by LAB or something, check with them if they have these. Otherwise I’ll just order place an order next week and have it shipped over. You can out your name down if interested. Price wise, not sure how much. Probably the delivery will cost more than those darn things.

Looks like alot of improvements although the outlook is the same.

I think the cycles is 2 years per improvement and 4 years per revamped.

Or maybe, just maybe they are trying to go into the same revamped year with the suzuki.

Nonetheless, watch out for 2007.

 

Tashi, think you can save your dough until next year at least.

I am quite disappointed with honda this year though.

Extremely disappointed with the 06 model. The MCN pix still look ok, but when I saw the other pix showing the rear exhaust, and the covering, it's dang fugly. I find the whole bike repulsive.

 

Unlike how the 04 model captured my heart the very 1st time.

 

The GSX 750 looks good, the exhaust looks nicer than the K6.

 

Someone is getting a K6, watch out guys.

actually i like the shape of this latest CBR1000RR. finally the blade looks aggressive; i tot the 04-05 CBR1000RR looked "fat and round" in pics, tho up-close looks better. this latest one looks aggressive even in pic.

 

but why izzit since the '04 CBR1000RR and '03 CBR600RR Honda cant get 'correct' color schemes for the bike ah? the CBR brothers look good in only 2 types of schemes (not counting repsol of coz): single color like the all-black pictured above, or dual with the taditional honda wings, not the weird fish gills of '05 CBR600RR and '05 CBR1000RR nor the lion's mane wings of these current ones. i dun even wanna mention the weird silver/red/blue captain america schemes. Mr Honda: give us solid single colors or traditional wings please.

 

but all in all maybe too little too late? lighter and more powerful than before, but seems to me the rivals are even lighter and even more powerful?

The GSXR new front headlight looks a bit funny, like a potion of the lower part was cut off, i prefer the yester years sharper headlights, if what i saw was the real K6

actually i dun think we'll see a new fireblade in 2007. this latest one has got new fairings, new engine covers and new end cans. a 'major revision' in all rights, so this is actually the beginning of a new 2-year cycle, not the end of a previous 2-year cycle.

 

as an example, the CBR600RR released in '03 onli had a revision in '05; some may say not much, but look: new fairings, new tail units etc, and its considered a revised model and the '06 CBR600RR has no change.

 

i doubt honda will produce a CBR1000RR 'unique' to onli one production year. so in '07 i expect at most a new CBR600RR.

Instrument panel looks familiar to the '04 and '05 Fireblade, here is the new front end. The overall cross section is now also smaller with redesign radiator intake and exhaust of hot air deflector in order to keep hot air away from legs.

Another picture, view from the rear. Speaking of the rumoured V5 VFR1000 or 1200?? Seems like it is another rumour. The new VFR is a carry over VFR800... updated for 2006.

 

Honda Japan may think it might be too ex to produce a V5 and may not have enough market quantity to justify such a production. Maybe I am wrong, just guessing.

When Honda realise they're losing sales to the rivals, they will come back in full force on 2008.
