I still get about 245km before I hit reserve for normal riding.

Am still able pull and change gears at 11,500 rpm up till about 270 KMH on Sepang straight before the 200m braking mark.

Because of the above reasons, I see no need for a PC3 for my bike. What I need is a set of Ohlins or WPs. No use having a super duper power packed bike when it handles like a wild pig in the corners or under hard acceleration or braking.

This is my own personal preference and priority that I see for my bike. Those who love brutal straight line power only... please do not flame me, to each his own. Peace out.

Go get ur Ohlins or WPs then u'll see ur timing will be off a few sec's more :thumb: Now Zee is asking me when will i join them & quoted you as an example. You see a different Raptor before & after joining them

Agreed with u tashi...Y we need more power but when entering the corner the bike go wide and shaking like pig...i have arrow s/o, K&N Filter, Flapper Mode and i feel my throttle respons are more good from stock. More idle RPM in 5000 to 7000rpm.. i feel want to install the PC3 but my mechanic said, whut more u need coz ur bike have a good throttle respond and a good top...with thats mods i still can reach 283KM in front of straight at sepang before i braking hard at 180m braking mark....

so..experiment with it...and feel it..its not u install the PC3 u got whut u have..i got frenz install gianelli S/o, K&N filter, and PC3 jst have only 146Hp only..so...think bout it.. :cheer: :cheeky:

Yes Chilly.... you must come over and learn the ways of the Dark Side. Zee speaks the truth... they have taught me the methods and ways of the Dark Side and I am still learning from them. They are very good teachers.

The Dark Force is strong within you.... and yet you resist it. Why?

Destiny is calling.

PS - The power of the Jedi warrior is strong in Ken and Tashi, the Dark Forces have no ability to persuade them. Sigh.

actually juz a slip on does not need a PC unless your bike runs too lean or rich after putting the slip on.

for my case after putting in my full race system i did not intend to put a PC. however after installing the full race system i exprience a lot of back fire and a lot of carbon build up at the end of my muffler. so not choice but to put it

Hi Raptor, can fill me in on the "no catalyst in the catalytic converter"? is this located in the mid pipe? are you saying u got it removed?

i have read from other forums they seem to be split on the slip on + pc3 combo, some feel it's not necessary and some say it's a must..

michael - u have pc3? now that u've got arrow, is the feeling same as the akra?

Catalyst?

Looks & feels like metal, but brittle like biscuit.

Yes, it is located at the midpipe, the big bulge in the pipe on the inside of the right footpeg.

But frankly, there is no drastic improvement in pick up after the removal, although the pipe is a total flow through now.

The only difference is the sound the pipe makes when I go down the front straights at PG or Sepang. It has been described as a high pitched "whine" unlike the sound of the other bikes.

Marbella is now a halal chinese restaurant. Was there for lunch the other day after PG. No pork on the menu and the malay waitresses were still there. 3 of us ate one soup, one veg, one beancurd and one ostrich meat dish with rice and it came up to RM38!!!
