It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. Hi Guys,

Was alerted to this post by Tashi.

Colour scheme is based on the '05 Japan Domestic SBK Series bike ridden by Atsushi Watanabe for Team Yoshimura Japan, as in these two pics:

I could not, of course, get an exact likeness of my bike in the next pic (nor did I want to, as mine does double duty as a streetbike):

Cheers!

hi throttle....

yeah. you are right...that bike is from the suzuki factory team in japan JSB05.

it belongs to my good friend arron...and actually it was him who encouraged me to get my current paint work, but the 06 version...we sort of called ourselves team mates after that...

So to be something different, mine is a 06 suzuka 8 hour version

From a rider coach in NJ.

Typically you leave the ignition alone unless you have raised the compression substantially by having shaved the cylinder head, installed a thinner head gasket, different pistons or any combination of. Different cams can effect this as well as where you build cylinder pressure in the rpm range changes. When you raise cylinder pressure these ways, you tend to have to run race gas to compensate for the increased compression. You may need to retard the ignition in some areas and increase slightly in others(usually lower rpm). Just throwing advance at the bike is a bad idea. You might experience slightly better throttle response but as rpms build you will probably start to lose some power and possibly cause pre-ignition in an unmodified engine. This can cause damage.

In the past the 929/954 has actually seen a increase in the last 3k rpm by retarding the timing 1-2 degrees. Personally while having my bikes mapped the dyno operator added and subtracted 2 degrees and made repeat runs and saw negligible changes. Any gains were minor so it was left alone.

Me On The Track...

Heh, Alvin, Throttle is your good friend, dun you know? Nice paint job btw. Where did you do it and how much?

The Jardine can makes your Blade look like the Ducati MotoGP bike. Don't think they make street legal cans. Looks like after a ride, when cooling down, the hot air is just hitting the rear LED. Most of us had bad experiences with that.

The Fraser's Hill movie is done, uploading and verification will take another day or 2. Check back soon. Over 9 mins of footage.

Throttle, Dom may be out of town this weekend, if you want to collect the CD from me, let me know.
