JB, am still looking for a softcopy version. I am looking for digitized version of everything to free up space in my room. I hope things are sorted out for your Blade. When are you gonna join us and show us your new jacket?

I cant find the soft copy version as well... poked ard everywhere to no avail.

The surveyors have yet to survey my bike. But its still in running condition, mainly cosmetics, so I'm riding it till Ah Hua informs me when its needed to be at the shop for survey. Good thing is that the other party's insurer is AXA, which has them as one of the approved shops, so claiming should be smoother. Hopefully not gonna be too ex.

I also dunno when can join u guys, normally not free on sats... but i'll be keeping a lookout for postings on outings here, if i can will sound off.

Heres the link to check out the photos I took

tweety, you are a very good student. You learn fast.

But what I think is most important is having a safe first time outing on the track, it makes it memorable and fun.

One of the guys from the group you were with took this video of me at Turn 12. Why they call it Ah Gong Chicane when it is a corner?

The grinding sound you hear is not my footpegs scraping the ground but my kneesliders with titanium inserts, that's why you saw sparks in some of the corners.

All thk to u la......

Heard there's more photo of u!!!

440 bhp Blade (stock crankshaft, camshafts and valves), anyone?

Norwalk, Ohio – Stotz Racing debuted the all-new turbocharged Honda CBR1000RR with great success at round five of the 2006 AMA/Prostar Drag Racing National Championship, July 15-16, at Norwalk Raceway Park, Ohio. The Honda Rider’s Club of America (HRCA) sponsored liter-bike qualified fourth overall in the ultra-competitive Pro Street class with a time of 7.75 seconds at 190 mph.

“I am very pleased with our first outing on the CBR1000RR,” said team owner and four-time national champion Kent Stotz. “We have worked hard to get to this point and, true to its nature, Honda’s engineering is holding up very well to the demands of our Velocity Racing Turbo System. In fact, we’re getting about 440 horsepower with 30 pounds of boost and we are still using the stock crankshaft, camshafts and valves.”

The CBR1000RR, one of Honda’s best-selling sport motorcycles and the first liter bike to compete in the Pro Street class, is completely different from the CBR1100XX on which Stotz won two national titles and set class ET and top speed records as recently as March, 2006 at the BikeWeek Nationals. “I give a lot of credit to our sponsors, JE Pistons and Falicon Rods, who we have worked with closely to develop reliable horsepower,” said Stotz. “In addition, I want to thank Air Tech and BST Wheels for providing us with the lightweight bodywork and wheels we needed to help bring our weight down below 400 pounds.” One of the keys to success against the 1300cc-plus competition, according to Stotz, is a high power-to-weight ratio. With more horsepower to come, expect the Stotz Racing CBR1000RR to set new standards in the class.

Fresh off an appearance at the Honda Hoot in Knoxville, Tenn., Stotz was enthused about the potential of his new drag racing project. “Honda is behind me 100 percent and so are the fans. At the Hoot, we shared our display area with one of our sponsors, Joe Rocket, and we had a record number of contestants in our Reaction Time Challenge. Our Grand Prize, a helmet from our sponsor Scorpion EXO, was a huge hit.”

Be sure to pick up the August issue of Sport Rider magazine, on newsstands now, and read about Stotz Racing in the article “High-Powered Outlaws”, which takes a close look at AMA/Prostar’s Pro Street class. Then watch for Super Streetbike magazine’s September issue, where Stotz Racing’s turbocharged CBR1000RR dragracer is examined in detail.

Stotz Racing and the HRCA-sponsored CBR1000RR will next appear at round six of the AMA/Prostar series at Indianapolis Raceway Park, August 12-13. For the latest information about Stotz Racing, including the latest news and sponsor links, be sure to visit http://www.stotzracing.com.

About Stotz Racing

Stotz Racing is at the forefront of street tire motorcycle drag racing in America. Formed by renowned motorcycle drag racer Kent Stotz in 1995, Stotz Racing earned AMA Prostar Street Bike Shootout titles in 1995, 1998, 2001 and 2002. In 2004, Stotz Racing’s turbocharged Honda CBR1100XX became the first Street Bike to set the 200 mph record (7.25 seconds at 200.49 mph). Stotz currently holds the ET and top speed records in the Pro Street class, 7.275 seconds at 201.82 mph. Sponsored by the Honda Rider’s Club of America. Stotz Racing is also the record holder of the AMA Prostar Horsepower Challenge in the Import V-Twin Cruiser Open class on a Honda VTX1800.

Impex: Yup, you know where to find softcopy for 06 model like what tashi asked?

Anyone interested in getting the manual, I'll prob be ordering in a wk or 2. Or if you guys are intending to order anything from US, we can bulk everything together using vpost to save shipping costs.

The Blade did not change much right? Sorry, I don't know where to download the 06 version. Usually it is just a minor 'add on' to update the specs. You guys decide if the manual is worth the dough.

Throttle / Rapper, you guys keep going with the brudder brudder foreplay, everyone’s gonna get a stiffy. Wahahaha. Sorry, I couldn’t help it.

Good stuffs on the suspension settings and tires. :thumb:

Ronald, read my amateurish review on the R1 a couple of pages back.

Hey Tashi, I read from page 180 to the last page, can't find the R1 review. Anyway my friend on last Class 2 lesson, hope to hear good news from him soon. Have a fun trip on Friday. Thought of going to Malacca for a round about blast on Sat. The last trip to Malacca by so many CBR riders in May is tops man. So piss at missing that trip. Hopefully, another trip is on the cards.

Actually, I like to go touring also, great fun but not the paying makan treats for our beloved neighbour civil servants. Got hit twice already when I went on separate trips to KL and Malacca in May after my exam ha ha. BTW, I change my magnetic coil at 7k km and 15k km. :thumb:

Sep 02 to Oct 02- Black Cagiva Planet (1 word Lousy)

Ahem, I did say it's an amateurish review. :cheeky:

Had a chance to sit on his R1. There's a constant gush of warm air from the engine shooting towards me. Pillion seat is also not as comfy as the Blade. This is not to say the R1 is not a good bike. But the Blade is probably more street and pillion friendly.

If and when it does happen it will be on Sep 17. That leaves me less than 8 weeks.

So... anyone want to join me at the PG track tomorrow?? I will be riding the DRZ.

Or Sunday also can for the PG Track Day from 10 AM to 1 PM. I will be on an Aprilla RS125 for the 5 Lap Race. I thought the CBR1000 was great in handling corners, but this little bike takes the cake.

Chilly needs to work at around 10pm, too late for him so hence the timing. No problem Chilly, I can do the organizing, just that I am not that sure abt the roads and makan places. U still need to lead the way. Always forget easily. Will organize another Malacca blast soon if the response is good.

Can see in the previous post that a lot of us got trouble with our magnetic coils, me also with 2 damaged already at 7k km (costs:SGD410 changed at Mah so called BS's coil) and 15k (costs:SGD280 changed at Unity, 3rd party manufacturer coil)km millege. Hopefully this 2nd generation coil will help to ease our financial pain. :thumb:
