I think there's a bug in Video Google. The description of the site and title is not coming out correctly, so you won't be able to search for it.

My IU wire was cut today 10 Oct 2006 in Haw Par Centre car park.

If you the culprit is reading this, pray hard as there is a camera there.

You will live in suspense for the rest of your life thinking whether the hands of the law will catch up with you.

I bless you to live to a healthy ripe age.

In exchange for this you will see all your loved ones die of tragic accidents and diseases in front of your eyes.

One by one you will see your grand parents, parents, children and grand children leave before you.

Just crapping abt the girl issue, nothing serious, :cheeky:

 

Hey Tashi Pls PM me the video, the GSX 1000 looks really tempting, thought of really getting it. So many technology enhancement. Traction control,Slipper Clutch, Adjustable footpegs (Good for me with my weight). For the what if scenario, maybe comprehensive insurance will be sufficient to allay the anxiety.

 

A personal opinion: The new R1 exhausts looks crap like the ZX10R, so is Yamaha following the footsteps of Suzuki, introducing new top models on odd years? :confused:

 

 

The CBR 1000 RR 07 colors are crap man, :nono:

Sep 02 to Oct 02- Black Cagiva Planet (1 word Lousy)

Oct 02 to Oct 03- Yellow RXZ133 (Too light for me)

Oct 03 to Mar 05- White Purple CBR 400RR (Not enough style & power)

Mar 05 to Dec 06- Red CBR 1000RR (Wonderful except the magnetic coil issue)

Dec 06- Dec 07- Black VFR 800 (Good bike but not my style, thks for the memories)

Dec 07- Black GSX1000K8 (Nothing else to say except Damn good)

i cannot express how PISSED i am right now... my coil burned AGAIN... GRRRRR.... :mad:

 

5 months and few days between 8 May 06, my first coil burn, and today, just a few minutes ago...

Chye's Blade also can't start. It happened just last night, he called me. All affected users, pls vent your anger, I will send this link to Honda Japan so they can see for themselves.

 

Not sure why they issued the directive to change the flywheel. So they can make more money from you guys.

 

It was suppose to fix the problem, and the 06 model is supposed to be fixed as well, so it seems like when my coil burnt, they're stumped. Still, they have not rescinded the directive to fix the flywheel as well.

 

Rommel, looks like you have to take your wife's CBR150 to clear carbon tonight.

Edwin, how's the GSX compared to the 600RR and 1000RR? Since you've had all 3 bikes on the track, you should be able to give some good reviews.

 

I hope the frame don't crack on you.

All, pls file your grievances here, I've asked Honda Japan to look into this thread, from this page onwards. All those with burnt coil, own up! Your post will make a difference.

 

The new flywheel on the 04 and 05 is supposed to fix the problem, and the 06 has a different flywheel. But since my coil also burnt, it may not have been fixed.

 

Not sure why there's still a directive to have the flywheel change. Meaning you guys will have to pay more the next time you wheel your bike in to BS to change the coil.

 

Honda Japan and the dealers who sell the coil and flywheel are ultimately enriching themselves at your expense.

 

It reminds me of Microsoft, building crappy software and then touting the next upgrade is better and more secure, consumers pay and upgrade, only to find out they've been suckered.

Beagle, I'm sure there's a more effective way ... like parading in Orchard Road with only toilet rolls wrapped around the private parts. You can hold out banners and say Honda stripped us bare.

 

Want to go for Qong Qing hotpot for lunch? Call me. I'm going to Chinese supermarket to buy extra ingredients to add into hotpot. I have the Qong Qing platininum card, 15% discount, quite worth it.

My CBR1000RR5 was registered July 2005. Since then I've had 5 burnt coils. My latest replacement at the local Honda distributor in Sept 06 cost me $800++ for the coil and stator. I've pretty much given up hope on Honda already.

 

So pls buck up and show that you are sincere in fixing this problem else my next bike will definitely not be a Honda.

Hi..I'm new in this thread.

 

Dear Mr Honda:

I'm currently riding a CBR 1000 RR '04 model..and I suffered a burnt coil too!! Just 5 mths after the bike got onto the road..After a stator change, its not giving any problem..I hope it stays on like this or else..the pasture is greener elsewhere.

Wah, after reading our two bros here suffer the coil burnt out issue, i starting to get worry liao, my bike is 14 months old liao, hope the coil give me no problem.

My bike is registered on 31st July 2005. I too have suffered a burnt coil in April while I was on a trip to Phuket. Put yourself into my position, how do you feel in such situation? Mileage coil burnt @18454KM that's about only nine months of use. Please look into this problem we are having or else no more Honda for me:mad:

U better solve the problem fast Honda coz even the 06 models, nearly 3 yrs after the 04 u still ignoring the complaints from owners all over the world :nono:

LISTEN UP HONDA JAPAN!

 

MY BIKE WAS REGISTERED IN EARLY SEPTEMBER 2005. UPON 8MTHS OF USAGE WITH 21,000KM ON IT. MY COIL WAS BURNT. THE DAMAGED ALSO AFFECTED MY RECTIFIED AS WELL AS MY BATTERY. SO BLOODY INCONVENIENTLY I HAD TO REPLACE THIS PARTS! WHAT MORE ON A FIRST HAND-BRAND NEW,ONLY 8 MTH OLD HONDA CBR1000RR05. WHAT THE ****ED IS THAT!!!! IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE A ****ING JOKE?????????

 

I HAD MY COIL REPLACED INSTEAD WITH A "RECOILED" PART, WHICH IS OF A HIGHER RESISTANCE AND OF PRODUCT QUALITY MATERIAL, AS COMPARED TO YOUR ORIGINAL MATERIAL USED ON THE CBR1000RR COIL.

 

I DID NOT PURCHASE THE SAME COIL, AS I KNOW THAT IT WOULD MAKE NO BLOODY ****ING DIFFERENCE!! AS ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME COIL PROBLEM AGAIN AND AGAIN! DO YOU KNOW THAT IT IS A BLOODY ****ING PROBLEM????

 

SO FAR, IVE BEEN USING THIS RECOIL FOR THE LAST 5 MTHS. AND IF THIS COIL GETS BURNT YET AGAIN.
