The Ducati 999 is listed at $40k. Went to look see just now. Price is inclusive of everything except COE and insurance. I don't know how competive the 1098 will be, but should be around this price. Every says the K5 and K6 R1000 has a gem of an engine. Perhaps can try once before switching to 1098. Give it another year or 2 to sort out whatever issues.

LD, I went back to the Motorshow again today, among the small cars, Jazz is still better. The Swift a bit cramp. Jazz has veeer good fuel consumption figures, and is more spacious. Not sure whethere there's coil problem or not, heh.

In other news, Yamaha has issued a recall for all 2006 YZF-R6R’s due to a problem caused by the air filter fitments. According to the Yamaha recall document, “the air filter retaining screws may work loose and in rare cases, fall out, potentially getting caught in the throttle valve and preventing it from closing properly.”

I noticed that u guys had been talking behind my back lately especially Tashi & Ronald Mc Donald o_O .Actually the reason i didn't log in more often is because of the forum itself. Now that it's going much faster, maybe i post more often :cheeky:

Tweety - Have a speedy recovery. If what Tashi told was true (pouring sand into ur engine),damn those bast***d !

Saufi - After spending money on the new coil & flywheel, hope no more burn coil issue for u.If it happens again after this,do like what i did.Wakakahaha....

Ronald - Have u decided yet or be like Tashi 50-50  Don't post the crap telling the forum that ur still virgin.Looking @ ur face, everyone knows ur not.Wakakahaha..... J/K hor.....

Eldo - Have a nice & safe trip for the 3 nation ride bro....

LD - It's never the same with 4 wheels. The fun factor is just not there.Ask Tashi,he can afford both anytime but he's not ready for 4 wheels yet.

Beagle - When ur joining us again but what u did is right.Always family comes 1st :thumb:

Din - What happen to u bro ? Been missing for quite sometime.

Rommel - How's the motorshow ? Did u go today ?

Been working ot since the last 2 wks coz of yr end stock taking.Anyway guys,I have the slip on single seater (ermax) to be given away (foc) to our blade members only.It slips on to ur seat.In case u meet a SYT,just slip out the single seater out & there's ur pillion seat underneath it !

Hi Chilly, is ur slip on single seater (ermax) fit CBR954RR?? If suitable, can I have it?

any 1 heard of no cut frame sliders for blade??

"no cut frame sliders for blade" available at a few motorshops, including motoworld.

Mr. BEAGLE is using them, probably u cld ask his personal review so far and cost involved.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. Usually when you switch from 1000cc to 1300cc, should be more garang right? But the story here proves otherwise.

Yesterday night we went in for a quick fill. It was raining and we had to take shelter at Esso. Our abang here was leaning next to the sign “Pau Ahmad”. It was funny, this lady jumped off her bike, marched straight to Chilly, waved at him and pointed to the sweet pot of corns next to the steaming buns.

Last time he looked like a commando on the Blade, now it’s Pau Ahmad. Haha.

Must sponsor some “Pau Ahmad Hot Buns” stickers for his spanking new bike. He does have the juiciest butt among us. :cheeky:

Maybe should print a t-shirt for him, Pau Ahmad Hot Buns, we only use the juiciest meat. At the back must have an arrow pointing at his butt. Plus he looks like the new Singapore Idol (am I the only one who noticed?), I’m sure it’ll be a sell out.

Yesteday night was raining heavily so we had to stop gp esso towards sg for shelter.Park infront of the tent that's selling flowers & 'pau Ahmad'.Suddenly this petite lady with deninm jacket, jeans & wearing a cowboy boots stop infront of the pau counter & showed the pau's to me.I looked at her & asked her 'Do i look like someone selling pau?' I said to look for esso staffs wearing the esso uniform. She smiled cheekily & said sorry. She thought I'm the seller coz i stand infront of the pau steamer.

Chinggu, the single seater retails for $330.

Din, go to Singapore idol page to see Pau Ahmad. Heh.

OK, as you all know, we’re gonna be heading for KL / Bt. Tinggi, I would suggest to book the hotels by next Monday already. We can talk more this Sat night. We haven't eaten satay for a long time. I won't send out sms this Sat to you ladies. Just sms me and let me know you're coming. Usual time, 8pm GP Esso.

Since the McDonald Highway is best ridden in the morning, we can leave for KL on 16 Dec, stay a night at Eastin. I’ll get my bro in law to get corporate rates (should be cheaper then the MotoGP rates we got). Then on 17 Dec, we’ll take the McDonald Hwy up. There, we’ll stay one night and leave for SG on 18 Dec. Perhaps I’ll come back to SG with you guys and make another trip down to KL again closer to X’mas.

One good thing about you guys is, because we’ve been riding together for so long, the road trips are always enjoyable. Nobody needs to prove anything to anyone. Very stress free and disciplined riding.

We’ve all worked hard throughout the year, let’s go ride.

Remember how huge those crabs were? :hungry:

Departing KL: 18 Dec @ ??? am
