When you do braking, you will cause the rotor to turn slightly and hit a stopping point which might casue the tick sound. This is due to it semi floating mechanism. By right, it should only move perpendicular to the carrier (the one that is bolted to the wheel). Maybe it is due to wear and tear which cause it to become more loose. You can try using your hand to turn the rotor like how you turn a steering wheel. If it is loose enough, you can actually turn it slightly. Then you will understand.

actually it doen't turn much just a slight 1......however i can still feel the click or tick feeling through the handlebar when i'm holding it.....

guess i'll just live with it since the mech say its fine and normal......

ok, i think mine is about that range.....recently dunno why my bike petrol consumption like dropping......not sure whats the case

thought was the coolant needed for a change as temp gets too high, but since the range is of the same as the 1 posted, this point is eliminated.......maybe due for a air filter clean up..... :?

anyway guys, is there something within the balancers at the handlebar there???? some piece of metal etc...???

For fuel consumption wise...i think is all depend on your riding style or maybe is time to replace your air filter. If bike still new no need to replace coolant...waste money.

Use V Power, it gives very clean combustion, then take it to JB and whack it.

hey guys, need your help here......recently when i noticed that there's a "tick" sound coming from the front suspension when i do hard braking or when i go over the hump.....i thinks its whenever the suspension has a slightly more movement then this sound would appear....

sometimes it "ticks" one time, then sometime twice......but everything seems fine, i've checked the area but there's no signs of leakages as well as rubber cracked.......i've also tried turning off the engine and just shake front and back with the bike and i could hear the sound.

everything seems just fine when i'm doing braking, its just that i don't like that sound........any ideas guys?????

:?

I think I may know what the problem is. Man, I was just like you, asking around, but no one knew, it was irritating as hell, but just couldn't pin point where the problem is. Thought it was the brakes, had the mech take it apart, cleaned it and put it back, but the sound is still there. The tick sound will slowly become a tok sound.

It could be the front or rear wheel bearings, either or both have worn out. It's very easy to check, take it to BS and let them know that you suspect it's worn bearings, they'll know what to do.

Good luck. If it really is the problem, you can buy me tea.
