Tashi FYI, i have open another thread for CBR. I hope you dont mind...cause i notice in this forum there is too many CBR threads so i think to merge all together. But i will still stay on this thread.

Yeah, am itching for a ride up to KL, stay over the weekend thing, makan and come back. I usually ride up in the morning, avoiding heat and traffic, and hopes to hit the thick fog at Pagoh area. I love the fog.

I wouldn't recommend going KL. The theft rate is simply too high there. Genting however is safer and so is the further up north of Malaysia. Thailand is still the best!

LOL, I am from MY, I know places with nice food with visible parking lots. Don't have to worry about thefts. I always drive and ride up, so far no problems.

 

How was the outing last night btw?

OIC. But even so, I have heard Malaysian bike being stolen as well. So I guess I'm not willing to take up the big risk. But it is still a place where its good to relax for a weekend.

 

The outing is next week or 7 march. But I went in with my friends for supper. Saw Dafeimao there and alot of bikes, mainly those 1000cc and abv one!! I simply love it when the whole group moves off. The sound of those hard acceleration is super sweet!!

arrow....i no comments. the shape n quality just dont interest me.

forget abt GPR unless u just want loud.

I dun know why bt I just have an impression that Leo vince exhuast very sub standard.... anyone for reviews?? Akra no sound... I would think that a good mix of performance and sound would be arrow and yoshi.......

Last night outing was super bad... real big problem... Ride Safe PPL!!!

the link MCN got for yesterday, the 09 Yamaha R1 Vs 09 CBR 1000 RR

 

CBR got 2nd place. R1 got the 1st because of a better drag compare to CBR. the engine sound like a YZF M1 and a more fun manner exiting corners... makes u feel like ROSSI!!! SWEET 4 an R1

Ebay...prices quite competitive....most of the time faster than what shops can promise you (when they say got no stock and tell you wait for next shipment )

yoshi meh....no sound one...arrow quality not very high....

want sound then must take out the silencer.

leo vince at 1st i also look as sub standard but seems most ppl are starting to put leo vince, esp their carbon fibre and full systems...price also a bit cheaper than akra...

akra is super light, so far the lightest i ever carry...

Looking for frame sliders for Fireblade 1000 08

 

Need some opinions from you guys:

 

Option 1 - Sliders that need to drill a hole on fairing

VS

Option 2 - Sliders with extension that doesn't require to drill hole on your fairing.

 

So which one is better?

 

Getting many contradicting reviews from shops.

 

Personally I prefer not to drill....

 

So need some opinions from you users.
