Woopa!! Cbr1000rr Riders

Hi all

 

I'm getting MARRIED on 1st May and wish to organise a CL2 BIKE CONVOY to accompany the bridal cars to fetch the bride. It's meant to be a surprise for my future wife.

However I'll need your help to make it a success and memorable for my fiancee. A small Ang Pao will be given to show my appreciations. I'll need about 20 BIG BIKES so that the 'entrance' will be loud and grand.

Please volunteer yourself for this joyous occasion.

 

Date: 1st MAY 2009 (Friday)

Time: 8.30am to 9.30am (rough guide)

Location: From Hougang to Serangoon

Maybe you guys might be thinking i am trying to be indian chief or be a smart aleck by typing this thread but i realli wish to set up or create a name for our bikers team..

 

This is how we go about...

 

we need the various post;

 

Chairman - Basically does nothing

Vice-Chairman - Haven think of anythig for him yet

Secretary - You guys help me think

Treasurer - Collects money, of course

Entertainment Member - Organize Outing & Trip

 

Although this may sounds like we are almost in ARMY life but i think our future ' Bladers Club ' need this...

 

Basically we will pay $5.00 every month to the Treasurer in regardless of whether we will meet up or not, then Entertainment Member will organize trip, outing, BBQ, Chalet and many other events. You may also bring in your partner to join in the fun.

 

Having say all this, what your views, guys ??? Bladers Club awaiting your responses or you guys got better idea, im always welcome and all ears...

Well, that was a very big group. i realli liked this kind of feeling,to be with a group of riders together.

 

we are trying to search for more CBR 1000RR riders in this small island to join us..

friday went for a servicing.....

discovered no air filter inside when i wanted to service air filter...

there goes the BMC, got a K & N...

flush coolant, ard 2 bottles of maxima coolaide...

checked spark plugs, more than 20k, 4 pcs of denso iridium...

changed EO, 4 bottles silkolene race 10-50, left some in the 4th bottle...

checked injectors, surprisingly clean even though no air filters...

asked why after more than 1 year brake pads still haven finish.

brake pads eating into the disc, changed front disc to BRAKING n use BRAKING brake pads...

then bike feels no power, wat could be the cause, still thinking...

price of everything?? not thinking about it.

If u enquire from shops like Mah Motor Shop, they would only cater for bikes purchase from them, if your bike is so.. but likely u wld be lookin closer to a hundred bucks just for one side of the mirrors or for 1 clutch lever.

 

However a cheaper alternative wld be gg direct to the agent shops wic wld be able to offer u at abt $70 per side of the mirror, goes the same for the clutch lever too. Apparently LAB is also offering around that price range too depending how well u can negotiate wif them..

 

There are also customized side mirrors available on the market wic u cld do some reasearch on... they do look nicer but price-wise nt as friendly..

With or without airfilter, it will not affect the cleaniess of the injector. How come it is without air filter? Your bike has PC3 installed and tuned without the airfilter? If so, you have to retune after you had installed the air filter. Your AFR just gotten richer.

I think even april i cant make it oso... got trip to thai leh. How abt organize on May. Then i think more ppl will join in... dont plan too close, notice very short oso. If you dont mind i will plan the May outing for all Blader.

On 24 April((Friday) im off, so can i set it on this date? then the place can you guys decide. At first i think of goin to 2nd link but i scare of the jam. So i planing in local unless you all dont mind the jam.
