Hi, currently there is only one recall which is the clutch recall. The recall was started quite a few months ago. Maybe you can call Boon Siew to enquire. Just give them your chassis number and they can trace for you.

 

But before that oso got one recall for pump,rite??? i think is the fuel pump or the cooler pump. But i think he just get his bike should be everything ready done.

hello to all bros...

 

I'm quite new to cbr 1000rr 08. I just wanna ask, there is a recall for cbr 1000rr 08 rite? how many recalls are there? cos i read in other countries, there are recalls for clutch assembly and recalls for coolant hose clamp. I heard there is a recall for the clutch assy in Spore but i still haven got any letter yet. usually how long after u got ur bike then the recall letter will reach u? and is there any recall for the coolant hose clamp here in spore?

I dont think yours need to do the recall for the Coolant hose clamp... unless you bought a 2nd hand bike. My bike was bought...Nov then B.S say that my bike already settle. So i just only kena the clutch recall nia.

Friend buy new one lah... this thing cannot save it one. I bring u go Regina buy lah. If not you go LAB ask fo better price...confirm good price one but hor...good price is one thing but can wait until you die lor.

13k for RR5, Mine.. akra CF street legal new type exhaust (not the old one), single seater, black bagster tank bra, ohlins damper, titax brake n clutch lever(shorty), racing footrest, whole bike matt black. mileage 38k only. just done full svc 2 weeks back. not in a rush to sell, if 13k ok contact me. will sell if i can find RR8(if can find)

Hihi~ those that have rode rr4/rr5 and upgrade to the new rr8 issit a very big improvement over the older versions? haha seems like a lot of good comments on rr8 regarding the compactness and agility of the machine

This you have to check with our Super Senior TASHI... he is our Firebalde supporter. Maybe he can answer you on this. RR8 confirm is good...as in good in low and mid range. If you want white colour Loois motor still have alot...and he gt Respol and HRC design too. I LOVE the HRC design....Best.

U think i like to wear full face everyday meh...safety reason. Somemore this Yong always wear open face smoking infront of me...damn TL lor....

Haha.. i also in love with the HRC tri colour. but i still got a few months before can enroll c2 lol. Was thinking of either a 04/5 fireblade or a brand new one so yep they are both my choices so far.

 

Thinking of a 04/5 coz i like its design and probably to try out 1000cc to make sure i like to ride 1 1st.. And maybe to awit and see the honda v4 lol

 

How u know i want white colour lol.. i know both my NsR and Babyblade is white ah..

From RR4 to RR6 already there's a huge difference. I feel RR4 is very tame and maybe a bit boring. RR6 has a more powerful engine and puts some excitement and grunt to it.

 

Plus if the RR4 is not an agent bike, then you might not be able to claim warranty for the coil if it burns, very notorious issue.

 

RR8 is a whole new animal, very light and agile. On twisties, you can say it's almost effortless flicking the bike from left to right.
