yeah maxima ha. hmm but i chnaged my brake pads like 3 mths ago.. can't be wear out so fast right? nweas will get it checked asap!

Well, if you do hard braking very often, stoopie, or go to track on a weekly basis, logically your brake pads lifespan is very fast.

It also depends on the type/kind of brake pads that you use, cause theres diff brands wif diff compound grading n diff braking performance, wic does affect product lifespan given the performance and affect required.

And most imptly depends alot on your riding and braking style.

Any idea, wat brake pads ur using...?

But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that!"

:cry::cry:Wahlau eh!!! Not again!

I just fixed the engine oil leak on the (clutch side) right side of the engine case a couple of months back...

Now the Left side leak! WTF !!?! ... And my warranty just expired 2 days ago !!!

Nevermind the warranty...But what's the deal about this engine casing leaking?

Is this a common problem or just my bike? I heard the manufacture made it in such a way that doesn't require any oil seal to secure the covers...but why is it leaking?

I don't ride VERY HARD very often...the bike is barely a year old and the mileage is not VERY high ... about 12k.

I think it is a serious safety hazard and the manufacturer should take resposibility and look into the matter.

Now I'm really suspecting that my low side could have been caused by the oil leak on the clutch side that splattered to my rear tire the last time .....

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

It is a really really great and a very enjoyable bike to ride, but if it is giving me problems like engine oil leaking, engine oil burning out, so soon $$$ and so often $$$. I might have to consider changing a bike....sigh...such dissappointment.:cry:

how much does it cost for the repair? and what's causing the problem?

Dino previsouly mentioned there is no gasket between the mating surface. Maybe that is the problem.

Was taking a left bend over a fly-over...tires just slipped an gave way. After the fall then I discovered a streak of oil on the road but I did not pay attention where the source was. It was a few weeks later then I discovered the leak on the right side.... but I fell on the left ... and a month before I fell I sent the bike for the clutch recall.

Yes but I had no proof to say that it was because of the oil leak ... the mechanic also challenged that I had not tightened the screws when I installed the Yoshi engine saver kit... Zap! Overruled !!

Remove case, put fresh layer of silicon, do leak test - $64.80 ... Boon Siew Price

I guess so too ... but I haven't heard of people from this community having this problem ... unless they had a major crash.

Dude, how're you ... and your bike? Heard you sold it and got a bigger bike.

Sorry, I did not respond to your request for the original undertail ... was working my ass off ...
