Heh ! It's the wet wet season now ! Sianzz maybe later go wash and wax my bike ... But hmm .. It's still very clean leh ! Haha ..

Mod ur bike ..? What kind .. Cosmetic or performance ..? Haha .. The list is endless ..

Kinda both. But not too extreme as I don't go to track. Not yet. Haha.

akra full sys,

pc 3, gd tires,

marchesini rims,

sliders,

ohlins front n rear shock,

brembo brakes & pump + braking brake disc,

hrc ecu + filter,

modded velocity stacks, air intake.

aftermarket windshield,

voltmeter , gear indicator, lacing footrest.

big bore engine. + change camshafts + change pistons.

520 chain conversion + sprockets

rear fender eliminator.

Thanks man. I didn't know there are sooo much to upgrade. Okay, i think for now i'll just focus on brakes and windscreens first. Anyone with extra windscreens to sell?

In the end, will it still have street friendly ride? Or keep for track use only? :p

I would prefer a street but not-so friendly ride. Hahah.

There's water slippage into the high beam lamp.

Temporary solution is to turn on your high beam until inside of the lamp is heated and the vapor will be evaported.

Permanent solution is to replace the rubber surrounding the lamp.

if no alarm installed then should be ok.

better if its opposite. the red wire disconnect. or both

Y cos the chance of sparking is lesser as the ground (black) wire is still connected to the battery.

If u read up ppl always recommend disconnect the red 1st then the black and connect black 1st then red to reduce chance of sparking at the terminals of the battery. unless the circuitry is a positive ground.

dats a bad idea to start it everyday without riding. the starter motor will drain the battery more than it can be charge if u just let the bike idle for few minutes.

actually is the other way round..

have to disconnect the black then the red..

sparks is created cos the electrons trying to jump across the "gap".

the "gap" is formed when u try to screw the positive terminal of the wire to the positive terminal of the batt.

To prevent this, if there is no close circuit to allow the electrons to jump, sparks less likely to be form.

so by rite, to dismantle the wire off the batt should be black 1st then red..

to screw back the wires back to batt, is red 1st then black.

:)

Ya, black 1st then red. and red first then black to connect back the wires

oh ya my bad is disconnect black 1st then red.

but connect is black 1st then red.

i used to always connect the red 1st then black last time but always get sparks whenever i connect the black wire. (dunno is it becos of the extra IU unit + voltmeter wire dat cos the sparks anot) then i happen to see a video saying he always plug in the black wire 1st then the red so i tried and seems there wasnt any sparking anymore.

notice he say in 2.10

Probably in USD, eitherway just wondering abt the pros and cons of batteries like that.. i mean 3kg to 500g is alot of weight savings for a battery lol

well maybe to those racing team every gram of weight saving counts. if u got $ to burn u could have a spare in case the primary batt goes flat. u can squeeze ur pcv and alarm into the space since the battery is smaller thus freeing up storage space under ur pillion seat.

Sounds like good idea to push my alarm in that place too..

Then again if its in USD, its not much different from the yuasa battery price liao..

Just read thru the detail on the battery u asking on the above link and its actually a LiFePO4 battery. They look nicer and with the carbon casing may prevent water damage to the cells compared to the 1 i post in the video. Pretty much confirm abt the price is in USD. Feedback is very good from riders can some ppl from sg did actually bought it.

Well a new yuasa may be slightly cheaper than the shorai but without care might spoilt or weaken within a year. But according to the site shorai has 2 year warranty. Although only cover in US at least better cos nv heard of warranty for yuasa. Only safest method is to get a newest battery base of the date of manufacture but dat doesnt mean its not faulty. For all i noe most bike shop dun let u choose.
