keke u certainly put it in a humorous way. well tat's true NS can hardly get u any where least to mention riding a bike.

I do not think S4 ever had an Ah Pek image as so many yougsters love it too...it is more of a versatile machine that transients all ages and riding styles and habits. I guess that is why it is so successful as it is able to appeal to such a wide segment of the riding community.

Anyway age is just a number, it is important to be young at heart, and most or all of us who find pleasure riding are so...

Although I've seen older men riding S4, I always think of them as very sporty & "modern" type of people...I think typical Ah Peks wouldn't even consider buying an S4 coz it's too fast a bike by their standards....:cheeky:...Their Ah Hmms sure wun let them buy one...Wahaha

P.S Just kidding...No offence intended...

Wow, in this forum I think those above 30 considered "ah lao" is it? Then I am one of them liao!

Haha... but I'm ok with it actually. Been riding since 18, but stopped when I got a car after I graduated. Then sold it when I got married after realising its too much a burden to maintain.

Then last year decided to get back to riding. Still the most economical. In my opinion, class 2A in S'pore road is just nice, so I got myself a S4.

Hi Keiyong, rideral, kushinagar, viciouskitty, virus and other 30-something, nice to meet fellow professionals-bikers.

Btw Qunoile, I not professional rider lah...Just a S4 rider who loves to cruise along ECP to work. :thumb: Watch out for this grey Version S with a box behind when you cruise along ECP. Say "hi" and I sure wave back...

Hey rideral, I hope to ride a ST11 too! But not sure if its too heavy to handle for Spore roads esp when squeezing thru traffic.

Btw you mentioned that you take the ECP to work... I usually take the PIE to work, but back using the ECP (due to traffic condition la)... Anyway what and where do you work? I'm a working professional too (not professional rider haha..) at Science Park. Hope to see you on the road some day ya

Hi Qunoile! Glad to hear someone share the same dream bike as me. I started off riding 2B bikes and now a Version S. So I think we should be confident enough to take on a ST1100 lah. My height is only 1.64m but still I think can ride lah....Any ST riders out there??:cheeky: I think it's sure heavy but still manageable when squeezing thru traffic lah...I love the "silent" sound of it...Whenever a ST pass by my bike on expressway, I can hardly hear anything...Like silent jetfighter...wahaha

Anyway, I take the ECP to & fro work. I work in the Harbour Front area & stay in Pasir Ris. So you're a working professional at Science Park...Are you a researcher or scientist?...Me blue collar worker only leh...

Hope to see you along ECP too! Grey Version S with a box behind, black helmet (FP21XX):thumb:

Hey, I stay at Tampines! Near near to you leh.. Me also not white collar worker la, I'm jus an engineer in a start-up company.

Ya, talking about ST's cool silent engine just sets me dreaming. But its 380kg leh, I think one of the heavier bikes around.

There are 3 STs at my place and one of them is a rare white one... drool liao.

The road tax and insurance will be much higher than our S4 as its a 1100. Wonder how's the fuel consumption. I think there are many ST 11 riders around here. I know for one is Mr Simon Soh, who organise many trips for the forumers here. Hmm..don't know when will I ever have a chance to try on one.

See you around bro, mine's a blue Vtec1 FU plate, with box too.
