Haha, point A to point B,

 

I would say that $1.4k for 11kg bike is a bit steep, but you're paying a bit of brand premium.

 

Should be able to get around that weight an components for a little under $1k if you choose an asian brand. Nice bike there though.

IMHO, Scott bicycles are over-priced if you compare components by components. Go over to togoparts.com to have a insight review of all bicycles.

currently jog too much , kneel abt damage. so intend to switch to cycling.

 

jogging need abt 3 time a week 30mins , cycling need how much distance/ time to maintan healthy ?

these are recommended standards... IMO don't need to follow so hard lar. i jog once a week only. follow what you are comfortable with. anyway, i believe doing multiple exercises is better, so it might be good to jog and cycle at the same time.

I am utterly interested in bringing back my childhood days of endless cycling, and I hope to accomplish both the abovementioned together :pray:

Guys, general question here: What would a light bike with at least a pair of front suspension be categorised as? And are there people riding these (endurance-like...) on the roads?

 

Without rear suspension is call hardtail. Think most who ride on the road are riding road bike aka racers. :angel:

I live beside mt faber only.. but too bad my working schedule is tight, if not can join you to cycle the long way up. :p

hi guys... used to ride and crazy bout trail riding. went to Ubin on May day to ride but I guess nowadays Ubin urbanizing and more ppl going there to R&R. If any of U wanna go ride tampines trail let me know.been looking for ppl to go riding wit.
