The CB400F brochure (can be googled) stated that riding at 60 km/h gives 34.7 km/l! That's the upper limit, of course, but it shows that the bike can be fuel efficient too.

 

As for me, I'm riding very slowly, hence I can get 25 km/l. The difference is the start-stop traffic.

 

I was very worried when I tried it. I estimated I could go ~340 km (25 km/l x 13.5 litres; I used 13.5 instead of 15 for some margin). My heart was beating all the time after clocking 300 km!

i try my FC again on last week.Reach 332km but top up 14.7L.

Your cfm can reach 350km with only 13.5L.

Just to update this very old post. My true FC is now determined to be 22.5 km/l after accounting for the tyre size.
