To other CB400F owners, what front tyre are you using? Will 110/80/18 (specified in the manual) really fit?

I'm currently using 100/90/18. Nothing wrong, except speed/mileage is faster by 6%.

Thanks!

Another question is, I pump 185 pascal for front tyres and 195 for rear, but I was told these are too little because the bike is so heavy! These figures are from the manual.

Should I pump higher?

Just a correction. The manual says 200 kpascal for front and 225 kpascal rear.

I must have confused it with another bike.

Hey Marco, Nice one! Same colour as mine. I am also looking for one more, hopefully in the green colour to complete my collection. One for infidelmofo and 1 for me? :)

Just bought a 5month old, as-new Honda XR125L. When it arrives soon, it will sit next to and compliment my 1976 XL100!

My final target is a MV Agusta Brutale and after that I must stop - getting too old. That will compliment my Gilera Giubeleo 124! :)

By the way, anyone knows where in Singapore I can buy those sealant for petrol tank? I know they sell them in UK but I cant get that sent via post -flamable liquid! My seldom-used XL100 sprung a pin-hole leak, was tin-welded but I want to prevent future corrosion.

How about arranging for a Saturday afternoon ride-together?

u can get AH HEE to do sealant for petrol tank.

Most bike like bmw and HD was done by him locally.

i will get the address for you later today. think about 80-100 for a small tank.

Ya bro infi, I do remember you. Why dont you make me an offer I cannot refuse? Just kidding! :) I dont know why but I find it an addiction, I keep buying, I have no time to ride them, the batteries go flat, etc etc. Yet I still want more! With my latest addition of this XR125,my porch is full! My schwinn is packed in the box, no point assembling it as there is no more room! But still, if there is a green CB400Four, I will make room! :)

hahaha..hey alex make u an offer!? why dont i offer you to maintain your ride for you :D haha.. wow schwinn?? arent those bicycle makers???are you telling me you have vintage bicycles as well???!! if yes, golly! i love those as well..im looking at an american sears bicycle.(on my dp) just waiting for the right moment for it to be sold. yes cb400f(racing green) are awesome as well!

Ooops, off topic. Yes, it is a dark green Schwinn Cruiser Deluxe. "Hand Carried" from Boston, checked in with my luggage, a big heavy cardboard box. It was so heavy, I carried it all by myself, I even managed to load it into the family car together with the other luggage. I was younger then but I wont do it again! I then ordered a Shimano automatic hub gear -yes, I am not kidding, automatic 3 speed in-hub gear. Fitted onto a new rim, I have yet to test it out! Crazy but true! As you peddle faster and faster, it automatically shifts the gears up.
