your friend any good? how much is he charging? i wanna take too, but don't know where to start. but i know the basic already cos use to take piano lessons. however, abit forgot how to read the notes

Tell you a story. Once i used to learn piano, and my dad who worked overseas, didn't get to see me much every year. Once a year, he would be back to spend some time with us. It was then i started playing the piano for him. But every year he heard the same old peice. Subsequently, he was wondering if there was a problem with his hearing. I got stuck at grade 3/4. My dad cancelled the lessons and told me to go fly kite. End of story.

anyway, i want to start learning becos lately i become quite tensed n stressed... den i start to listen to Jim Brickman and Kenny G songs to help me soothe my mood. so i wanna learn so to be able to feel at peace everyday

Haha. My dream instrument has always been the saxophone. But I think I can forget about it cause I can't even play the piano now

hehe yar, saxophone is nice. i still remembered the first time i listen to the sax was 12 yrs old, in my cousins hse. she started playing kenny g's songs n from that moment i fell in love wif sax as well.

take it ez lor.. or u learn abit abit piece for each instrument. then u can go n say u noe how to play them all

I know a teacher call Iris, her Hp no. is 97988772 u can try to call her to ask her abt the price. She is gd.. I was taught by her for a few yrs, but due to time constraints I have stopped learning. I dun know does her Hp no has changed or not. U can try lor...

I completed my Grade 8 when I was in Sec 2... me 25 this year so that makes it 11 years ago??

 

If you require assistance (i.e. reading notes and such) I should be able to help (don't need $$$ lah). but if you're thinking about continuing from where you left off and taking the ABRSM exams (or others) then you should go to more 'professional' pple...

actually pte piano tutor is expensive, and i think its worth it only if u taking grade 6/7/8 those tougher practical lessons. Whereas if like somebody who mentioned stopped at grade 3/4/5, its cheaper to go piano schools like Cristoforri or Yamaha(in this case, tis is not motorbike school hor ) to learn, they provide air-con sound proof rooms, option to learn 1 teacher to 1 student for 1/2hr or 45min kinda thing. Fat_nerd if u say for song onli, then u shld try the school lessons lor, no need to commit to a pte tutor and sekali half way give up, its wasting the tutor's time and ur $$$ leh.

u noe, i wanna learn is so that i can play it when i m feeling down, and i think that girls will find guys who play piano sexy !!! MUAHAHAH

it's a she and she's giving birth soon, so somewhat a crash course for me. It'll take her sometime before she can take in new students. Unless u wanna wait?

no pun intended. just tat piano lesson not cheap mah, spend lesser for lower grades, invest more in higher grades onli mah. Dun u think lidat cheaper to learn meh?
