Hi all,

 

It's been a long time since I posted in the forum.........

 

Just overhauled my bike together with re-spray paint job (will post picture when I take some nice shots). I also installed a forward control and with that, my crash bar doesn't fit anymore.

 

So I'm selling my crash bar for $50 (slightly neg). The bar is at Rosli's shop, so if interested, just drop by there to take a look and if you like it just get it installed.

 

The bar looks like what's on Jack's bike picture.............. I met him at Rosli's shop a few days ago............... :)

I like to ask how far can your shadows travel before refilling and any problems while on reserve tank?

 

I need to top up 11L once hit 300KM, using grade 95 fuel. Whenever I am in reserve tank, going upslope the engine would feel like its sucking air and die off.

Any one of you guys ever experience these problems

I think you should check inside your fuel tank, especially the bottom end, because it may clogged or dirty. Or the fuel valve is not opening when it is in reserve position.

It is also not advisable to keep using your reserve fuel because most of the impurities of the petrol tend to collect at the bottom of the tank where the reserve fuel is.

Thats a fantastic fuel consumption. Must be a newer model shadow.

My 16yo shadow 400 has 14L. 2L of which is reserve. I get 20.5km/L on average.

I did have that problem as you last time on my gsxr 1000.

Apparently, there was water in my fuel tank.
