I would like to go on an off-road trail. Hmmm the type where there is lots of mud pie, rivers to cross, fresh rambutans to eat, and scenic waterfalls free from tourists. Anyone interested :)

thank God for H&B boxes =)

brought the side boxes today.. n as i was going thru barrier to e parking lot.. wrong estimation, one of the boxes hit the stone barrier and it detached by itself.. n i landed safely on e kerb.

 

Luckily some passerby help to pickup the bike.

halo..... seems like d pontian trip mayb postponed due to low response...

 

i myself will not b able to make it as d kids want to go somewer since its school holidays.

 

chris..if u can help pickup my dr650..i m game for offroad :) ...when u wan??

 

omg...d barriers r so narrow....my AT almost cldnt squeeze thru.... side boxees reali is difficult to handle on narrow lanes .... so u ok?

yupp am ok, the angels must be supporting the fall. like mc says.. i running my bike on grace.. no brake pad, warpped chain.. can still go hee.

went jb fixed dr 650 rear fender.. talk to d bikeshop owner... he is willing to do a demo on how to change rear tyres since i wil b buyin d tube from him..

 

any1 interested to see d demo n mayb hav hands on? d shop is at pelangi.... main road...

 

mayb we can learn more tricks so dat 1 shot 1 kill.... no nid to bring too many tubes on trips...

Ninja, if yu want demo on how to change your motorbike inner tubes, can always buy me kopi and I show you how. And all the tricks that go with changing the inner-tubes for front and rear, including avoiding puncturing it when changing it, and making sure the chain is properly tensioned afterwards., and you do not do any unintentional damages.

 

No need to go JB just come BH, Bandar Hougang

 

 

And I will be at Senkang Filed this pm flying my giant kites. But can guarantee there will be more giant kites there than mine.

When in my prime, 10-15 minutes.

But now maybe 30-45 minutes, cos a little rusty.

 

Lets say Tuesday or Thursday night between 8 and 9.30 pm.

Location must have a kopi shop.

You need 2 tyre levers, 6" or longer.

Spanners to remove the wheels, different bikes have different nut sizes for their wheels. KTM only need a 27mm spanner, but Honda's use 24mm and 18mm.

If your wheel has a tyre brace, then the spanner to loosen that off. For a ktm that spanner is 13 mm, but for Honda it's 12mm..

A mallet (not hammer), usually one can improvise with a piece of wood, but a mallet is better.

A flat head screwdriver - the minus one, the plus one is the phillips screwdriver.

A pair of pliers to remove e split pin.

A thick foldable plastic sheet, those ntuc white gloves and an an oily rag

No forgetting the pump to inflate the tyre.

 

 

When I talk about spanners, I do not mean those adjustable ones. Use a dedicated spanner for this job since the wheel nut will be on tight and requires considerable force to remove it. An adjustable spanner may slip off, injure you and round off the nut.

Aug i hv a church camp...prob cant make it.....for east coast round d world trip..also fooz may go back Algeria sell shisha again by then...

Flying boxes.... typical characteristic of BMW. Then again, it's good that it does that so that the box doesn't get badly damage. If the box don't fly, the bracket will rip itself from the bike. That damage would be very costly....

Try to squeeze with my 1450cc ex-bike with 36.5 inch handlebars. Have to play see-saw with the handlebars to be sure that the mirror or handlebar don't hit the barrier
