I didn't recognise MC at first . He's the one who said that i look familiar first. Then i stare and stare and look through the extra layers and finally realized who is that........ Actually i gain 20kg myself and its amazing that MC can recognise me.

I went back to think about the discussion on the name and objective of the group. Then it occur to me that we didn't even come to the Lord and ask Him what His objective is for us. Afterall He is the Boss.

 

 

Its been a pleasure to meet all of you and i feel really at home with you guys. Thank you so much.

 

thanks edward for tht reminder. yes its true tht we shld ask God wat He wants for this grp.

 

personally i feel tht its impt for us to raise up for the end times, which means to better equip ourselves but there are some who feels that this grp shld be used more towards the harvest, tht's gd also but i'm concerned about "the workers are few but the harvest is plentiful"

 

1 thing i know for sure is tht what we have been doing (or will be doing) is inline with God's general purpose for us, to disciple and to reach out. Perhaps we should ask God to help us prioritize if it shld come to a case of focusing on which area.

 

Thus, tht's y i've mentioned i'm ok with calling the meetings BS or fellowship cause to me, as long as we are fulfilling God's purposes, everything is ok with me. Perhaps my thots might not be agreed by some as my way of thinking might not be in tune towards the public's view on us or on how the name is suppose to be reflecting our activities but i'm keeping my mind open as i believe tht's wat the body of Christ is all about, we function diferently but yet for 1 purpose, tht's to glorify God.

What should a christian do in times of worldwide financial crisis? Banks are busting, stock markets is going down & not bottom yet. Secondary effect on companies' liquidity & cash flow is coming fast & furious. Some Internet Churches report 100 folds jumps in viewship to their website. Many backslided & lukewarm christians are streaming back to Him for protection against any collateral damage & spillover from the financial calamity.

 

Yes, only our God can shield us under His wings from all the calamity. Only He can saves us & who ever asked Him for a bread will not be given a stone.

 

What i proposed we should do during the crisis is to lean harder upon Him. No more lukewarmness, no more backsliding, but seek first His righteousness & reach out for lost souls (Mathew 6:33-34, Mark 16:15-18) .

 

As we seek first His kingdom diligently, ask & believe that He'll take care of our financial & daily needs & our love ones.

 

You can do this by telling yr colleagues, friends, relatives about Jesus. Or you can serve in your church by volunteering your talents (Mathews 25:14-30 Parables of the Talents). Maybe by now your friends & relatives hearts hv soften, they realised we humans need a great & almighty God to lean upon at times of crisis. Or you can visit the JB Orphanage & tell the parentless children, Jesus loves them very much.

 

Also, read the Words of God (Holy Bible) daily, ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate your hearts to see the awesome light & truth within. Attend your church 's BS or Cell group where ever possible.

 

Be diligent to seek fellowship amongst fellow christians, encouraging, edifying & exhorting each other's faith in Jesus's most precious name. This will allow our faith to grow larger than a mustard seed in order to move mountains of despair.

I have been praying that HE will reveal His purposes to the group.. and also bring forth more workers.. Who has receive a "revelation"?

 

1 thing i've learnt is tht God will speak to those who ask or talk to Him. So if you are the one who asked and spoke to Him, He'll talk to you.

 

imagine this, you ask ur dad directly about something, then your dad ask your someone else answer you. feels wrg rite?

i've met a fren in my ministry, was talking to him on my way home on the mrt (dnt ask me y take mrt, still pretty fared with it)

 

he was very excited to hear abt our activities and wld wanna join us if possible.

 

He's looking to buy a bike. he's more towards the dual purpose type, any lobangs?

 

not sure abt his budget.

having a non-believer amongst our BS group means very likely that person is already seeking for the truth. Coz most non-believer will be turn off by the word "BS".

 

I had seized the opportunity to do His will & immediately asked for the HS to guide me to break the ice & listen & understand how much he knew about Jesus & I tried to close the gaps with the Holy Spirit 's help. This guy is near to the tip over point; of knowing the Lord. Why don't we organise a weekday outing & invite him?

Sometimes you get a bunch of super 4s, sometimes all scramblers...used to have a group of phantom bikes there until most of them upgraded to bigger and nicer bikes. Some bike groups can be as many as 30 bikes.
